When do we fight the Light?

We don’t know their agenda. All we do know is that their followers only show up when it’s convenient for them. We also saw how scary the light can be with Illidan and again on Draenor after we left.

We’ve been focusing on Demons and the Old Gods, but who’s to say that the light isn’t simply using us? What if their plan to awaken Azeroth succeeds and the crust of the planet ends up like an eggshell after a chicken is born.

I’m just saying, perhaps we should be more vigilant.

Sk’yahf qi’magg luk sshoq anagg’qen.

Sorry, Paladin btw.

i guess when blizzard finally runs out of ideas we can fight the light

Light and dark are the opposite of each other. One cannot exist without the other. The greater the darkness of the evil, the more brightly the light will shine. Therefore, the light will dim when we vanquish all of the major evils of the universe til the next major evil arises again.

I imagine when they throw Yrel back into the mix.

Love to mount that head on my wall.

to fight the light would not only be fighting against Draenei and humans. but the night elves too, because in lore the light is related to elune.

Making the world a better place, one forced conversion at a time

Not true, the Light and its followers just work in a mysterious way is all. Its a light thing, ya just don’t get it.

I mean, lets be real here… Illidan kinda made a scene over the attempt to heal his scars and give him light powers. Honestly, coming into Xera’s house and throwing a tantrum like that was super uncool of him.

Hey, the Draenei welcomed everyone in with open arms, not their fault that some of the Orcs were a bit more rowdy and causing problems. You can only save someone who wants to be saved.

As we should.

Psh, pft, bah, pbtb, hur, nooooooooo. Never. If anything we are using the light and the Light is just giving us all kinds of good things for nothing.

I mean… Isn’t that kinda a given? Of what we know of Titan’s isn’t that EXACTLY what happens, regardless of how it awakens? The Planet, IE the EGG, breaks open?

The real question is, what do you want coming out? Either a super evil that will end all existence, a being of good that will save us all, or just let it die and let our planet rot.

I know what I am choosing.

We should ALL be more Vigilant, you never know when dark forces could be lurking around, disguised as a Human Paladin.

I don’t speak tentacles.

Not Sorry, Paladin.

Now in all seriousness, its an exciting prospect that the Light might not be as pure “good guy” of a force as we thought in the past. If ANYTHING is Morally Grey in WoW right now its the Void and the Light and it makes me excited at what is to come in the future.

In seriousness, I’ve played with the idea in my head that when a Titan is born, the planet of the world soul could become another normal planet. Like, the Soul could leave the egg without cracking it and go about its own business.

The eggshell cracking makes for a more interesting visual imo.

We should strip the light from the Horde. The Light and the Horde just doesn’t make any sense.

The light will forge us a new data center!

It makes me wonder if we will ever see it happen in WoW and how Blizzard would handle it. I mean, I could see it either way but I always assumed that Azeroth the Planet would be toast if Azeroth the Titan hatched.

I really hope we get to see it happen some day.

And then there is this guy right here >:T

I know when…

Soon™ !!!

But didnt argus awaken and the planet was fine?

I don’t think I’d use the word “fine” to describe Argus, lol.

That said, I always assumed we fought the Avatar of Argus. No clue why, but probably because of his size.

Says race that committed genocide on the draenei.

Twice.

Judging by the Lightbound fanatics lead by High Exarch Yrel and Lightforged Garrosh Hellscream, soon. Very soon.

December 7th. We’ll be able to enter the World of Light and destroy the eldritch horror Galeem.

Oh, wait, you meant in World of Warcraft? Maybe next expansion.

no, shadows require both light and dark, but darkness and light do not really require each other.

You mean how he was there to fulfill his role in destroying Sargeras/toppling the Burning Legion, and then X’era comes in all High-and-Mighty and acting like she knows better, attempting to FORCE the Light upon Illidan, and like anybody he adamantly refused vehemently until he was the one forced to use, well, force to stop her?

Yeah, X’era didn’t really display any qualities that I know the greatest Champion of the Light on Azeroth, Tirion Fordring, to have possessed. She was cruel, manipulative, and she was abusive in her ways. She cared not for Illidan, simply for the prophecy.
