When do we boog? As with several other people, randomly out of nowhere a little bit ago, my Celestial Observer mog disappeared. But not only that, my Sprite Darter Mog, and the Murloc Back-packs that I got for my 6th month sub also dissaperead.
What’s next, the store mounts or pets that we bought?!
Like I understand why game’s have cash shops, and it honestly doesn’t hurt anything, as long as you’re not directly able to buy gear off of the shop. But then in WoW, it’s been nice that people can use in game gold to buy anything from the cash shop, or convert it into money to spend on other Acti-Blizz games.
However, this is UNACCEPTABLE!!!
Personally, I play RPGS for the story, and for essentially playing Dressup. It’s why I like the Sims so much, and if we had player housing, I’d be all about getting items and decorating my house or houses too. But SL has already deprived us getting certain story beats, likely due to them trying to condense the story to ditch it for the next Xpac after Covid slowed them down…but anyhow.
That means MOG is a key component to my enjoyment, and not only are certain items being hidden, but items that have been paid for individually or used as incentives for a more expensive sub, have essentially been STOLEN from us.
So I’ll ask again, when do we boog?
EDIT: Some have assumed I meant this in an Extreme political association tied to a civil war. However, my use of the word Boog is solely because I’ve seen a lot of memes with it in them. Such as the joke to raid Area 52 were it was memed as a Boog.
