i always assumed it was when dailies reset, except a few months ago the daily reset passed and when the rare i was camping spawned it was still gold and didnt change until the hour after…
well here i am today camping a rare and it spawned at exactly 12 eastern…and it was still not silver…it cant be 1 can it??? daily reset was like 2 or 3 hours ago
Actually I think it is 11AM that stuff resets. But for rares, they should reset with daily quests. I am not sure if some rares have a weekly reset or not. You can look up the rare you’re attempting to farm and see if Wowhead comments have the information.
Lord Aj’Qirai…i farm him every 2 weeks when hes up…and he is a daily respawn…i just dont know when that is apparantly
and wowhead give this macro to check if youve killed today /run for k,v in pairs({["Lord Aj’Qirai"]=154604}) do print(k,":",v and "Yes" or "No") end … running it gives a yes even though i havent killed since yesterday afternoon
Oh. You can only farm him during the N’zoth invasion in that side of the zone. The area on the map will be surrounded by like purple-void looking borders. There are 4 areas, 2 in Uldum and 2 in Pandaria, that these areas rotate through. I used to farm that rare for a battle pet to sell.
He has a 1 hour 20 minute respawn timer from the time he was last killed. That seemed to be really accurate when I was camping his spawn with my army of alts in DF.
Yeah, I don’t know why it wouldn’t appear as a rare for you then. Probably post it over on the bug report forums. That’s about all you can do with suspected bugs or things not working correctly.
