When do monks get an interrupt?

Since blizz forgot to unlock DH for my vulpera, I switched to a monk. But playing without an interrupt is super annoying. I’m level 22 btw.

The earliest you can get it is 26…and that’s assuming you unlock the path to it before then.

I forgot when my Monk got his interrupt, but it’s in the class talent tree. Annoyingly I made a Mage and he started with Counterspell immediately at level ten.

It’s called Spear Hand Strike, if you want to search for it in the talent tree. Also note that you get Leg Sweep at level 6 (if wowhead is correct), which is an AOE stun that will also interrupt nearly all non-elite enemies that are casting something.
