Aside from the timer, regular dungeons.
Assuming level 70 here.
Normal Dungeon: lowest mob hp/damage output, fewest mechanics
Heroic Dungeon: still slightly lower mob hp/damage output, couple more mechanics
Mythic Dungeon: base mob hp/damage output (for level 70), all mechanics
Mythic+ 2-3: slight increase in mob hp/damage output, same mechanics, +1 affix
Mythic+ 4-6: slight increase in mob hp/damage ouptut, same mechanics, +1 additional affix
Mythic+ 7-9: slight increase in mob hp/damage ouptut, same mechanics, +1 additional affix
Mythic+ 10: slight increase in mob hp/damage ouptut, same mechanics, +1 additional affix
Mythic+ 11+: nothing new, just increase in mob hp/damage output
Again, itâs all stepping stones. Each tier adds a little bit more. About the time you can no longer sleep through the content (normal/heroic), is about the time you should start paying attention to the dungeon and mechanics and learning. If you donât want to do that, then the excuse of:
is not valid as the game does teach you, they just refused to learn.
Donât have to form your own. Thousands/millions of other players are taking that step out for them. They just have to apply.
The timer issue, yeah thatâs a valid thing. But itâs part of the challenge. If you donât like the challenge, hey no biggie, plenty of other things in game for you to enjoy! But everything has stepping stones to help prepare you.
And to be fair, M+ was never meant to be PuGGed and definitely not put into a queue system. It was made for already existing groups of friends to do together (IRL and guilds/communities). The fact we do have an LFG system for it is a plus though.
