A mage named Criptonx is 14 years old and is 2850cr/3000xp he’s currently one of the top mages NA. He’s pretty good.
Seems like a lot of young players are starting to play at the top.
An entire new generation.

Late wotlk was when I started but didn’t arena until cata. Arms warrior, 11 years old. Was playing on a laptop with no setup and terrible cable internet raging at pple on vent. Those were the days

Started playing in Vanilla, in my friends basement. Dwarf hunter.
First character of my own was a rogue in Vanilla. Played my brothers and sat in AV all day not knowing what an expansion was, so my trial account character is all i have to show for those years.
Made my trial account official in tbc prepatch, hit 60, TBC launched. Got brickwalled by guaranteed blue screens if I left hellfire peninsula. Spent seasons 1-3 ganking people in hellfire around level 65.
Got a new computer in s4. Finally hit 70 in time for wotlk prepatch. I was in higschool idr how old. I remember leaving school early to buy the expansion so it wouldn’t be out of stock. In TbC I played combat mutilate.
First queued arena in s5. Mutilate from s5 until s8 First 1800 was s6 I think. First 2k in cata, sub rogue disc priest. I think it was s10 but it couldve been s9. It was after unheeded warning got nerfed, first 3s game as a rogue in MoP/Duelist/2300, sub frost disc ofc. Sub since s8, excluding subbing for shoegazer on an alt because he wouldn’t play assassination.
Only thing noteworthy I think is tanking Robin’s alt out of Glad in warmongering after meeting in legion alpha.

First time I ever stepped into the Arena was in Cata on a Rogue when I was like 12, got to 1200 and never entered again until BFA on a Arms Warrior, Started RBGs as a Warrior in BFA as well.

TBC Season 1 on Warlock at age 26 years old.
Played since classic, always did arenas mained hunter/rogue till DH came around and never really pushed the others again. Was 15 when I started now 30 with back and knee pain oof.
Never really played wow till SL. Started wod s1 and had to quit to go to basic. Tried two patches of legion but I felt they had ruined survival so couldn’t get into it. Tried an uhdk in SL prepatch now I’ll prob be here shilling when they shut the servers off.
i started wow in tbc prob around season 2 end or season 3 end by the time i got max level merciless was the honor gear. i didnt play classic or earlier in tbc because i was an EQ fiend with some friends until we decided to try wow. played feral and i was horrrrrid at wow pvp which frustrated me because i won several EQ pvp tournaments. went restokin at max level. i think i was like 15 ? but i really started ARENA in cata season 1 after developing my skills through wrath and got my first 2200 cata season 1 on rsham. so im ready to return to wotlk and cause some terror

wotlk furious was my first season. i played resto druid with this same name, and i was in 8th grade
i have a core memory of looking up to like the only gladiators on my server, and wanting to be like them so bad lmao. I never got to know them well at all, but if anyone knows/recognizes these cats from quel’dorei lmk… WLD, joegengsta (war) buttery (lock) klaws (dru)
Isn’t Kalvish also like 13 and he was number 1 on the ladder last season.
First season actually playing arena and not just farming arena point gear, Wrath S7, 15yo, hit 2200 as ele/destro/hpal, made it to top 100 in MoP at 19yo as enhance.
This could be a literal reality for me. I’ve never got mad over a video game the way I do WoW arena.
If my neighbor way a Mage/Warlock I’d knock on his door and Sparta kick him in the chest after each queue session.

I was 15 yrs old Tbc s2. My friend quit and “gave” me his account. After I got it full gear from raiding and arena he asked for it back. So I finished leveling my own warrior that was like 62 still.
Started playing arena in 8.3, was like 12 or 13, got 2k as holy priest with 0 corruptions and in blue gear 
I’m in that life as well, there is something to be said for the combinations people are using now as opposed to before. Using 2 orals at the same time as 2 19 nors is something I’ve heard my younger buddies talk about. Which is insane. Then throw contest prep or a “shred” into the equation and its real easy to get in trouble.I use a very small amount and get great results but the “more is better” crowd exists everywhere.
I’m a lot more a fan of the “golden era” style of cycle which is more on the moderate side.
I started arena in wrath blood dps. Was 26 now 40. One hell of a ride so far. Still prefer dk to rogue just because of the position games.
sl s1 at 18 playing fury warrior, had full mythic+ gear and had 0 idea what i was doing. peaked like 1200 in 2’s/3’s then got 1800 somehow in rbgs cause i really wanted the plate elite set
I was a wee 14 when I started WoW back in beta, but I didn’t start doing arenas until… Cata or Mists, so early 20s.
It was back when MM hunters had a minimum range. I proudly remember going 1v1 with a MM hunter as my BM hunter after my partner and the enemy druid killed each other.
I won because I stuck to him and kept him from being able to shoot me while my pet nommed him.
