When did you come to terms with the fact that BfA was a filler expansion?

I was dissatisfied with this expansion pretty much from the get. I ground out void elves and 90% of lightforged in prepatch then unsubbed a few weeks later. It’s been touch and go ever since.

As much as I loathe the way they’ve made us acquire ARs (tomorrow my mechagnome arrives, yay), the fact I will use at least void elves and mechagnomes for many expansions to come is pretty much the only positive thing I can say about it.

I’ve just never been able to get into world questing, and that’s pretty much all you can do at cap anymore except maybe a single evening a week of LFR. Ironically I was thinking I’d be more likely to do WQs if I had flying, only problem with that is that flying requires a buttload of WQs on the ground to unlock, so it’s kind of a non-starter.

All that said, I’m cautiously hyped for shadowlands. Can’t wait to take a mechagnome hunter into the maw of oblivion or whatever it is. BfA never felt right to me (even faction conflict I’m meh about) however entering The WoW Afterlife is something I can actually get into. They’ll have to really mess it up for me to not like that. Famous last words, I know.
