Apparently the Primus makes her the new Margrave for The Chosen. I didn’t see that yet or I just don’t remember

it happens just after the quest line where you accompany her and Thrall in that elite are in the Beast Warrens, at least for my main whose covenant is Necrolords

Theres apparently a necrolords only bonus scene for this week’s stuff.

It happened this week. I assume it’s only necrolord players who see the quest, since it takes place in their sanctum.

After you do this week’s campaign, Necrolords see the primus promote her.

No male leaders allowed.

Necrolord only.

For rest it’s somewhere between Garrosh v Cairne cinematic and Sylvanas killing Calia and forsaken cinematic.

Oh, that explains it~

I thought everyone must have been spamming their ESC keys or something because it was pretty cut and dry but if only Necro saw it a little confusion makes sense.

It’s just good writing having the story spread out over four covenants. Not like that’d cause a problem with story telling and your players.

Except all of the male leaders.

How did not knowing she was promoted ruin the story? … how? Every faction gets the major plot points.

You don’t get all the details, but you still have a very clear idea of what is going on.

It’s similar to what they did in Legion with the class hall stories. Thematically good, but pain in the butt to get full story. I’d prefer being able to get entire storyline on one character, personally.

But the class halls were self contained for the most part. It gives some extra info but the larger story could still be followed fine without them.

The four covenants are vital to the story. If you only do one of them there is a huge amount of missing information. I’ve only done the necrolords campaign. I have no idea what the Kyrians or Night Fae have be up to nor is there a resolution to the questing stories.

You get their introduction quests, and then you get the follow up stuff. You basically just miss the faction rebuilding drama stuff.

But you don’t see a problem with their stories being cut short and put behind the covenant choice? Venthyr we get a bit of continuation on since the raid comes right after.

True, but I like details

There is, but we still know the overarching story, which is why I compared it to the class halls. But I do agree there are bigger missing chunks in Shadowlands - specifically the storylines related to Tyrande and the major NPCs for each covenant like Draka and Kael’thas. I do understand why they did it, I’d just rather not have to use multiple characters to get the full picture. But that’s just personal preference.

I don’t much care for compartmentalized storytelling in general. The only time I like seeing different quests/stories is when I’m playing on different factions since it makes sense to have different perspectives of the same event.

you literally see kel’thuzad in raid for the first time if you’re not mald/venthyr

We have 50 slots of characters. Yall can do 4/50 for the full story. If you wanted the full legion story you had to have 12/50

Remember when my class tried to steal Tirions body?

Or when we wiped out the last of the Red Dragon flight?

Small details…not something you need concern yourself with…

I do remember those. You remember the elements helping storm the broken shore?

These things, for the most part, came up only in their respective class halls and weren’t felt outside of that. Not so for covenants.
