I think the Maldraxxus female Gladiators have a decent model for female Ogres. Can’t imagine two heads on that type of model though.

My guess is sometime after we get a few more furry races and elf variants and the WoW servers shut down for good.

It’s not even necessarily the models, those old animations are just crusty af
Good old moonkin animations. Looks so awkward casting as a boomy.
I actually like moonkin / ogre animations, I just hate looking at this chicken for 10 years. Thank god for astral form. I would love ogres tho! What classes? Ogre magi are a classic.

If the community broadly supports Ogre models to be playable… Blizzard will put them in the next times that their numbers take a nose dive to try and level out…but they will never do it just because players ask them to unless its a quick and easy win.

Probably only after the various doorways scattered through the game become capable of handling characters larger than tauren males, unless they take the pygmy ogre route.
After we get Murlocs for the Alliance.
I can guarantee you there’ll be heaps who would, especially those who have been following the Warcraft universe since Warcraft 2.

This is the key thing.
There are already plenty of places in the game that can’t handle Tauren males, from the buildings in Nagrand to the elevators in Undercity to the mound of rubble in Frostfire Ridge that was originally floated as the Horde HQ.

People play Mechagnomes. Not many, but a few
I guarantee there will be more ogre players than mechagnome players
Canonically? Tauren are supposed to be taller than most ogres. Tauren are supposed to be 9 ft for women, 10 ft for males. Ogres have a massive range from 6 ft all the way to 12 ft, but basically the average ogre is going to be the size of a tauren woman.
They’re not that height in game because ‘places that can’t handle tauren’ would be ‘everywhere’ for Actual Sized Tauren

no females.
That’s no longer an issue for several reasons
- There is only Body Option 1 & 2
- Dracthyr also have no female form outside of visage
