You took away Teldrassil, Darkshore, Undercity, etc in BfA. When are we getting those zones back Blizzard? They’re just sitting in the game burned down or plague infested and we have to talk to a NPC to visit them. Are we just like, never getting them back, or what’s the deal here?
Sadly there is no words or comments about the zones that are phased. Or even if the company will address them. cough cough Silvermoon and Exodar are still waiting…
I mean they aren’t gone. You already said how to visit them.
Since they still work for leveling, there’s no issue.
They’re still there, with Zidormi we can go back any time.
But outside of that probably never. Sometimes there’s just consequences we have to live with. Both cities were totally destroyed, it’s almost not worth the effort for Azeroth to rebuild them.
So you already have them back then. Problem solved!!
I guess I just don’t really see the point in having a bunch of zones just sitting there unused gameplay wise. I get why they exist like that lorewise, but sometimes it can kind of suck when you’re trying to do old content and trying to get around.
Use the time agent to go back to a time when those things hadnt happened yet.
Talk to npcs zones are there as they were
I get that you can use the time dude, but we already had the zones redone, taking them away in current time just seems dumb. I assumed they blew them up because they had plans to redo them, not just leave a bunch of zones unused. If they have no plans to redo these zones and will just leave them blown up forever, that’s pretty disappointing.
They do exist game play wise though. You make make a new night elf and quest through old Darkshore right now if you want.
I don’t see the problem.
I doubt that will be the case, they will either A) Go do these dailies for 6 months to restore undercity, PRESTO! undercity restored in the next patch or PRESTO undercity restored on the launch of whatever xpac
In the current timeline they are still blown up OP. They’re plagued and damaged. NEs are hanging at Nordrassil atm. The NEs reclaimed their territories, but the Forsaken salted the land with blight.
That’s what I thought would happen this expansion, maybe it will, maybe it will happen next expansion. It just seems kinda dumb to take away entire zones from the game in current time without any plans to redo them or bring them back eventually, even if they made it an option to revisit them in the past.
Well if there is a possible time skip for the next expansion who knows what is going to happen .
They took our zones!!
Honestly I feel they should just find a big empty place and rebuild a new major city representative of ALL current races. For each faction of course.
They don’t need to be fixed, because they still exist and work. I guess they could technically bring back under city but that tree is super dead. Which is why lore wise under city is probably gone for good.
But again, you can access them very easily on any character and quest through them at any time so I’m not sure it’s even necessary.
You’re alliance, you remember how long Stormwind was destroyed after Deathwing attacked it in Cata? lol
Again, I understand why they exist like that lorewise. But in terms of gameplay it’s honestly kind of a dumb game design decision. To just leave these worlds blown up and when you visit them for the first time as a new player you’ve got new idea what happened or why this zone shown on the map just doesn’t even exist unless they eventually figure out to talk to a NPC.
I can’t even imagine just starting out playing this game now and my first experience not as a night elf visiting Darnassus is being confused on how to even get to the non blown up version.
I really hope they at least have plans to redo them at some point.
I’m not sure Teldressil or UC can come back from what happened to them. It took quite a while for EPL/WPL to even begin showing signs of healing from what the scourage did, but the amount of blight that affect those zones was nothing compared to the amount of plague released upon UC and the surrounding area.
And well Teldressil was kind of set on fire. Trees generally don’t come back from that.
True but it was at least still usable.
