There’s no way you posted this with a straight face.
all you can really do is continue to improve your character by getting any upgrades you can get for your weakest pieces of gear in different 5 mans/quests.
People are definitely willing to take people to MC for quite a while as long as they have put effort into getting good blues.
even BWL will take you if you have proper blue gear.
I did. This is how vanilla works. Go look up the horror stories of “Molten Core guilds” from 2004-5. Being perpetually stuck in MC because you fall behind is very real.
It’s not how it works at all. This game is solved. You can clear MC/Ony/BWL with half the raid in blues.
Later on we get ZG and AQ20 that offer catch up mechanics and other ways to gear.
And you think the guilds that actually are going to be able to do Naxx on time are going to take people that aren’t fully ready? They’ve already got their 40 ready for day one.
The only guilds left are going to be the ones that won’t give you the ability to do everything. Even moreso with releases being faster now.
3 weeks was not enough. Should have been 5. But whatever, we aren’t here to play MC.
Do our characters get deleted if we’re not 60 when MC drops or something?
No…why do you all keep bringing up things I’m not saying?
I’m saying if you want the full experience of vanilla, including all the raids up to Naxx, you need to be ready to get into a competent guild. All those guilds are going to be expecting people to be ready day 1.
Day 1 is tomorrow. It could’ve been later.
If you’re not ready, you’re stuck playing half the game.
Jeeeez really?
I just got to level 30???
Here we go again, Blizz has given into the hardcore gang.
Back to era I go.
Well then sounds like you should quit now and save yourself the effort I guess
Is there anything that can be done with these too sweaty to miss out, not sweaty enough to level non-day 1 refugees? Seems like there’s a lot of you. Maybe you could form some kind of, raid in two weeks time alliance or corporation.
I guess I’m glad(?) you’re enjoying someone being upset that they set missed out on something they put a lot of time into. The internet perplexes me.
I sunk 6 straight days of time into over three weeks when I could’ve better planned my time if I had viewed a different wowhead article instead of the roadmap which just said “winter” was the release date for MC?
We’re not even in winter yet. That’s the 21st.
That theoretical guild isn’t going to finish all the content before TBC.
I’m not, there’s just nothing left to be said. You refuse to listen to people telling you it’s not as big a deal as you’re making it so all that’s left to you is to just quit if you’re convinced you won’t get to enjoy the game
In that case no guild will finish the content if they push it back. Seems there’s no room to move it back after all. Lucky we got to the bottom of it.
Well obviously I hope you’re right. If my experience in WoW through Vanilla and the last classic launch has taught me anything though, I don’t think you are.
If people don’t care enough to be ready day 1, they don’t care enough to actually put in the effort to clear everything. It’s simple logic that’s been true in all of WoW’s history.
I wanted to be in that intial crowd so I could be safe in the knowledge that I wouldn’t need to worry for the third time about clearing everything. Now I’m back in stress mode that I might be wasting my time. Again, for the third time.
What about RP realms? Is that going to happen? If not, why?
You’re right, so you should discuss things instead of just going “no you’re wrong and/or high”
If this is the logic you run on then it’s no wonder you have problems finding a guild
Agreed, they dropped the ball hard with this decision.
Joined the same server as some old buddies, small guild, they ended dipping because their buddy the guild leader is a real “sweats”. Almost 2 lvl 60s…!!! .
lol I’m enjoying my self just got one toon to 31 this past weekend. I feel no need to rush especially like I did when classic 1st launched. Burnt my self out getting like That toon to almost 60 in like 4-5 weeks!
