When are Night Elves getting our tree?

Why is it growing in the emerald dream? Are we expected to live there? no! It should be in azeorht turning into a city! I want a new tree city.

Unfortunately, they’ll probably bring her back end of this expac, if not then for next expac.

As for the tree, I would assume sometime in this expac, but we’ll see. Blizz seems to enjoy bashing on nelves.

Yeah, so do horde players which I usually find pretty cringe but it’s whatever. Still my favorite race.

There’s a cinematic but the rewards and events are still hidden.

At most, I did find there are night elves (and nightborne) npcs likely for the Azewrath time rift.

Funny enough is Nathanos will make an appearance in one of the time rift.

Yes, inquiring minds want to know. :fire:

You can have a tree when the gnomes get Gnomeregan and the blood elves get the left half of Silvermoon, viz, never. Now stop whining.

I dunno if another tree is a good idea, js.

Already got Mechagon and are more curious about outside the vault.

Maybe safer to settle the land than deal with the Troggs. :cowboy_hat_face:

I have a feeling they’re just going to throw a cutscene then kill the phasing for Teldrassil. Give it a new name. There will also be one (1) new building model inside it.

And I want something new to set in fire.

The best time to plant a tree is in the fall. So … 10.2?

How do you know it is?

How do you know it isn’t?

Remember what happened to the last one?

A brief History of World Trees and Night Elves.

-A group of mutant trolls camps out next to the Well of Eternity, forcing away it’s current inhabitant’s, the noble Tauren, who were living there peacefully.

-These vile mutants are warped into hideous monsters called night elves by the well’s volatile powers and enslave, destroy, or defile much of the planet. They then try to summon Sargeras and essentially damn the world as demonic armies burn maim and kill their way across the planet.

-The night elves prove too weak to handle their own problems so the Earthen and Tauren (who, by the way, have every reason to hate the disgusting demon affiliated Night Elves who stole their lands) team up and stop the night elf driven demonic armies from destroying the world.

-In return the Dragons decide to make a magic tree to make all the terrible night elves immortal… while denying these gifts to the noble tauren who sacrificed so much to save a people who were nothing but hostile to them.

-The blatantly evil night elves then plant another world tree and create the Emerald Nightmare in yet another crime against nature (they then chop down their world tree) and drive the furbolg insane.

-The criminal night elves blow up that first world tree to kill a demon that they previously summoned to murder Cenarius’ dad. And killing this tree also made them mortal again… even though it didn’t actually die… because retcons and lazy writing.

-Then they make another world tree because they think they deserve immortality again. They also still make no effort to share immortality with any of their human allies, the tauren who sacrificed to save them in the past, or the orcs and trolls who died themselves trying to save the hideous mutant night elves’ last tree that they blew up anyways.

-Then the night elves put a crazy night elf in charge who decided to burn down that first world tree… (this is called foreshadowing)… and they had to be stopped, again, from destroying the world. Would anything bad happen if the world tree that already was/wasn’t destroyed was destroyed? Mr Pinchy does not know.

-So then the hideous night elves’ have their third world tree burned down… AND SUDDENLY BURNING TREES IS BAD! (this is called hypocrisy)

So now the war criminal night elves want a new tree. They could go and live in their old city of Eldre’thalas… but these Karens would NEVER solve their own problems. They could just rebuild… but they would NEVER stoop so low as to create like the other races do. They could just go back to living in caves like their ancestor’s did… but they hate themselves and their proud troll ancestry so much they would never do that.

So they did what any karen would do: Ignore their own hypocrisy and complain.
We DEMAND a new tree.
No, we won’t get seeds from Hyjall and plant one on our own, we want it GIVEN to us.
No, we can’t just use our seemingly never-ending army of druids to craft new tree houses, we want them crafted FOR us by someone else.
No, we won’t just hire masons to build a house, Stormwind tried that and they actually wanted to be PAID for their work. They should just make it for us for free because we DESERVE it.

And so here we are, three expansions later.
They are probably going to get a new tree given to them.
They are probably not going to want to share it with the 20 other races that helped create it.
They are probably not going to share immortality with anyone else.

And I hope it burns down again.

It will actually be good when she comes back.
They gave her the rest of her soul, she has become a better person, and they gave a redemption story (as controversial as that was).

When she comes back we can just put her back in the horde without having to worry about any genocide, and we can just pretend the whole story never happened.

A sort of soft reset.

Yes, when will the new tree be ready? I have catapults standing by.

No. Stop breaking back characters. Some characters don’t need to be redeemed. Let her rot in the maw.
