Literally garrote silence needs to go. Being able to just repetitively use is so obnoxious while they dance around pressing 1 button. Make evasion like aspect of the turtle where they can’t attack drooling like apes.

Subterfuge shouldn’t activate if you get knocked out of stealth and sap should be melee range.

Bad take, way too ez to knock rogues nowadays and with deathstalker being the only viable hero talent for assa there is way too much dependency on coming out of stealth clean to press ambush to enact majority of your hero tree talents (horrible design)
Only change I can think of is to make garrote silence only apply to your main target and if you have indiscriminate carnage talent, yes garrote spreads to other targets but it does not apply silence.
Other than that I don’t see an issue with it . Just don’t let the rogue restealth and if they mongo vanish to spam silence it’s all about POS and punishing the rogue for being overly aggressive.
People still triple stack letting rogues cleave for free it’s insane.
So many classes have aoe CC or spammable CC the only time assa can spam any CC is for the 6s coming out of stealth.
If they gave assa access to dance again, then sure take out the silence or nerf it a bit.

best part is garrote isnt even tied to subterfuge. rogue design is really training wheels status
subterfuge = 6s of cheapshot spam
garrote = 12s of aoe silence (i dont even know the talent name ill be real)

dont think its training wheels status i think its a terrible oversight. no way this is intentional. terrible coding imo. def should not be a thing i always figured that when subterfuge buff ended the IC talent was just spreading the bleeds.

No. It’s not okay. If you’re going to talk about a spec or a class being op and you main it, you should understand how the abilities that are glowing for you work.
But nah you should be able to just talk nonsense and attain rating without understanding the basics. Thats fun.

Sure, but you can also press ambush at any point during the 6s subterfuge window to apply the mark. You don’t HAVE to open with it.
(Not sure if you know that or not, but I see a LOT of rogues open with ambush over cheap/garotte because they think they need to in order to apply the mark)

Subterfuge can and should be removed. Only enables terrible rogues to attain rating and get openers they never should.
How do they micro cc if one is sapped, and the other target is cheaped/silenced?
If this is happening you’re doing your opener wrong.
Not really, because one guy is sapped and another is garotte/cheaped where they can’t press. Also, if you get CC’d when that happens, then you’re on DR and can’t be punished because 2 other guys are in CC AND your team can capitalize on that.
