Trying to gear alts and just getting 200k dps bursting ret paladins that just take out half the team is the most unenjoyable thing to experience.
Guess I’m heading back to ESO, because this is completely unenjoyable to not be able to do anything to stop that kind of damage.

no one is doing 200k dps… you didnt want constructive feed back you wanted to vent. wow balance has never been great and in recent years they just cycle the ops and you let yourself believe dragonflight would be different and got disappointed . gw2 pvp is lightyears ahead of eso if you are looking for another pvp experience

Can we not just ignore how ridiculous damage is right now?
There has never been so many clips of people getting completely deleted as far as I can remember. And it’s not just one class.
From arcane surge, to secret technique, to deep breath… I’ve even crit my shadow word death for 150k as disc priest.
This isn’t healthy for the game.

Lol I love how OP just jumps on the band wagon and blames ret. You do realize that many classes will 100-0 if not all of them if you have no gear? Maybe try doing BGs while you level so you can buy honor gear at 70 or buy the 398 PvP gear from the auction house? Stop trolling with these posts.

Go back to sleep and try again when you wake up man.
Ret paladin damage absolutely absurd right now and it’s even more annoying that it’s all judgement and wake.
Feral as well doing an absolutely ridiculous amount of damage with just rip

What does that have to do with say the evidence of that clip hitting people who are fully geared?
Again scroll up to see a ret burst on an entire team for over 343k peak dps and 200k sustained on fully geared people
Again, the damage is high across the board right now as is healing. It’s a vicious circle but this is where the game is now. High damage high healing high mobility and very cd dependent. This is exacerbated when you have no gear.
When I’m playing ret and get one shot by an evoker it’s not fun either. But I don’t think blizzard is going to go backwards in time and make the gameplay more skill based like it was in the past… a long time ago.
And I can’t tell if you are serious by saying that 300k DPS on a LARGE GROUP OF PLAYERS. For a single second is crazy, like what he has massive AOE ability and he has all his burst cooldowns up. Give it 5 seconds and he’ll go back to hitting you for 10k dps

No one is taking out entire teams by one round of burst from a single person.

Doing 1.7 million dmg within the first 15 seconds is ok? Also when he switched to single target did 200k consistent dmg.

You’re funny. Have you watched Venruki play evoker? Or anybody play WW monk or feral or UHDK that does a billion damage a second to your entire team. L2p before blaming specific classes for nonsense. You see burst cooldowns pop defensives or get away they aren’t hard to kite. Am I saying it’s healthy for all these classes to have crazy burst, no. But you crying about one specific class when there are many problems and whining about it when you have the audacity to go into bgs eith 180k hp is gross.

Even before strike of the windlord nerfs no monk was suddenly hitting an entire team for 1.7 million dmg in am opening slavo, however I myself was asking for monk dmg nerfs and talked against monk dmg buffs in sustain.
Again the clip I show above has nothing to do with undergeared players, stop using that as an excuse.
You’re cherry picking at this point.
Also, feral and uhdk don’t do instantaneous damage from range
