So tyrande came out supper powerful and apparently getting stronger. How powerful is elune? But more importantly, who the heck is she? What’s her strength comparable to exactly? Confusing stuff.
I remember hearing she was a Naru at some point?
Dunno about that though.

Elune so far seems to be a mixture of Light, since she might be the creator of Xe’ra as theorized by Khagdar after the Tears of Elune ignited Xe’ra’s heart as well as have some sort of deep connection to nature.
I personally think, that with all the cosmological chart build up that they are doing, she may as well be a “First One” and her moon in Azeroth’s sky is basically her plane of existence or some such, I don’t know, but we do know she is extremely powerful.

I wish the lore was more defined. I feel like there’s so many gaps these days it’s just hard to get into it because I don’t understand it.

I personally think she’s one of the actual gods of the game “First ones”, the other being An’she (Tauren Sun God) and another one inside the Maw or whoever the Jailer is working for.
All speculation but she’s obviously extremely powerful
If they have ever given an answer it will probably be retconned.

She’s the oldest god of azeroth and this is why Nightelfs could dominate the world and defeat legion single handedly.
Her power is mysterious, for she’s not from azeroth nor that universe. She’s basically an unknown entity from the future. It’s called the elune project! A series of experiments were created to form a perfect being to match the gods due to some prophecies " A child of elune or elune herself will carry a legacy of powerful beings " but this elune is unquine for she was born in that laboratory but escaped to join the mortal world and from there her story goes on…
We don’t know and personally I hope we never will. Some mysteries are better left unsolved. It makes the world feel bigger.

Elune is like… a big glowing ball in the sky. She might be cheese. She’s probably cheese. I’d like it if she were cheese.
likely going to wind up being the last living “first one”.
considering how xal’atath refers to her as an “upstart” goddess, she could potentially be the cause of the disappearance of the other first ones.
or it could just be the fact that maybe the other first ones didn’t want to be directly involved and worshiped, only elune seeks worship from the creations.
there’s a few routes they could go. from more mundane, to more esoteric. it depends what type of being they want her, and the first ones, to be.
Stories get super boring if everything is spelled out in excruciating detail.
They’ve already exposed us to way too many higher power beings
