Is anyone else having this problem?
I went to purchase the new leatherworking patterns for the new pvp gear. My leather working is at 525, the patterns require 520. I can purchase them but when I go to learn the pattern, it says “This spell is not available to you.”
Maybe the season hasnt started yet
these items accidently got released at the start of p1 and blizzard had to remove them all and stop people learning them, this might be a relic of that fix
The exact same thing is happening to me with the Vicious Pyrium Blacksmithing Plans. Kaita Deepforge’s (BS Supplies vendor in Dwarven District of SW) entire inventory is re-arranged now, with the previous 339 and 359 Plans being on Pg1 and the “normal” Pg1 items (pick, hammer, flux, coal) plus these new Vicious 377 Plans on last couple of pages. Can successfully buy them all and even resell. Upon trying to learn, at the end of progress bar, get a red System Error “The spell is not available to you” and the plan remains in bag and is not learned.
yep!! all professions 377 PVP gear is not learnable by the recipes you can buy, except for Jewelcrafting where it is not even available as a recipe.
I think the other commenter got it right where they had a bug where people could learn it very early, and now that we’re actually supposed to be able to learn it, you can’t.
Hopefully they fix this ASAP! and hopefully they put the vicious 377 JC gear on the trainer!
I just got a response on my ticket for this issue.
The “Champion GM” only confirmed I had an issue but no solution to my problem, only to sell back all the recipes before the timers run out.
Yeah, I was able to confirm this is still a problem, I submitted a bug ticket as well in the hopes they eventually read it. Hopefully they resolve this quickly.
