Mine is that I only got Outland Engineering level 1 just so I can use the Flying Machine. I have no intention of leveling Engineering, ever.

I got engineering to get an auction house in main cities like Dalaran, Boralus, and Oribos, even though I never had an intention of leveling engineering ever :smiley:

I used to get it so I could use the loot-a-rang, too, but that requires skill now (and it didn’t use to) so that’s no longer a reason for me.

In ZA I used to use my warlock spell Eye of Kilrogg to go and target the mob at the top of the climb to the eagle boss, then with it targeted I would send my phase shifted imp up to pull him, thus negating about half of the mobs that would spawn as we work our way up to fight him. I did the same thing in Naxxrammas to kill all the trash in that room where the eye tentacles would slow you.

I leveled a toon on a low pop RP server just so I could farm world mounts more easily. :smiley:

related to that is to get engineering just for the wormhole generators. more ways to move around the world are always welcome

i don’t think I’ve ever even had that on my bar… same with the hunter spells that are similar

I play the game for fun. Who cares about logs or numbers or wipes or BIS.

Stress in a game is no fun. So I just have learned to chill and relax and enjoy my time in Azeroth.
