Great news and absolutely the right call. Big thanks to the dev team for preserving the integrity of the Mage Tower appearances.

I’ll always remember the challenge of my feral druid and BM hunter attempts when MT launched. I was completely shocked by the difficulty. How many of us fell to our deaths in the tank challenge too? It was incredibly rewarding though. That sense of pride and exclusivity still sticks with me, as it does for many veterans.

There’s a magic to them, unique to wow, that shouldn’t be erased by entitlement.

That said, non-legion players deserve a similar experience. Rather than asking for the old mogs to return, we should be pushing for something new: a fresh MT experience with new and even better appearances/mogs. It was a highlight of Legion, it should be a top feature in every expansion imo.

As for Mage-Tower in remix → I think it’s a good decision not giving the appearances in remix — However not in totality … I believe completing them in retail should 100% give the rewards. I did the majority of them in the day and still believe the tower’s difficulty stands tall and is worthy of presenting the rewards for completion.

I think there’s many things they could do. Like limitting the MT appearances by letting the players choose only one spec per class to get the MT appearance with. I played Legion and did all the MT challenges, and I think they were easier before than they are now. And they had better rewards.

If they don’t bring back the original MT appearances, at least they could bring recolors or a totally new artifact appearance that is only obtainable in Legion Remix.

Players who didn’t play Legion do deserve to have their tries, we are not talking about Elite PvP Sets, that are season-based.

I think Blizzard might still go back and do something about it, because most players seem to have lost their hype for this Remix after those news.

Just because you think the TOV sets suck does not mean it should be brought back according to blizzard logic, hence many players complains about blizzards consistency. EI Bring it all back, or none of it back. Flawless Mythic TOV was CHALLENGING content. By your flawed logic the Scarab lord mount “sucks” because it has a low poly count from 2004. But the scarab lord is a rare mount

Cause as I said in other threads if not in this one, that being special is one of the fun’s of playing mmorpg, letting everyone has MT would lower the uniqueness of my toon, which to me, means less fun.

And I also advocate that if MT returns, then all the FOMO should return, pvp elite gear, enchant illusion, titles, etc… no one can cherry pick anything they want, either all return or keep all exclusive.

Im talking about those that cried for clsssic because “retail leveling is too easy and fast, everyone plays meta, retail is too seasonal, there is no prpgression, retail too minmaxed yada yada yada”. And what happened , classic 2019 came out and we got people already power leveling, playing pure meta, min maxed the hell out of the most trivial content. RIGHT NOW most people streaming mop classic are doing some kind of exploit to power level.
