What's your setup?

Back in 2018, I built a rig with nVidia GTX 1080; a Samsung 870 EVO SATA III SSD 1TB; a DVD player; a Corsair RM850e power supply, and for monitors, I have two curved Samsung 27" CF39 Series FHD 1080p Curved Computer Monitors. I had a $1500 budget and it worked for me. I did pay about 80 dollars more, but the system works very well. I might have to get a new video card and processor since the ones I have are now 5 years old. What do you have?

Custom Gaming Build. I recently gave my 13900k build to a family member to take to college. So I did a new build for myself.

I forgot to mention I have an ASUS Z170-E motherboard with an Intel(R) Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz 4.00 GHZ. Slow by today’s standards, but still runs very well.

Rebuilt this holiday to…

ASrock Steel Legend X670E
7800X3D (h110 Capellix Elite AIO)
32 gigs Corsair Vengeance 6000 mhz, CL30
7900 XT (Sapphire Pulse)
Samsung EVO 990 Pro (x2) [Gen 4]
Corsair RMx 850
Still using my Corsair Obsidian 450D case, since it’s about the same as the new models.

Old PC from WoD through early DF:
MSI Gaming M5 Z370 (this thing is trash)
i7-8700k (h100i GTX)
16 gigs Corsair Vengeance 2400 mhz
GTX 1070 Ti (Gigabyte, WF)
Samsung Evo 870 256 gig [Gen 3?] + 2x 1TB Hitachi HDD 7200 RPM for storage.
Cooler Master 1000W server PSU (still running at 15 years old!)

Along the way, I upgraded from a 1070 Ti to a 6700 XT, and then to a 7900 XT. All my hardware usually passes down to family, but my old setup, including my 1070 Ti are sitting in my living room because I don’t have an extra case to put it back together. Fortunately, my original boot drive is untouched, so it’s as simple as booting and reinstalling the original GPU driver. It’s currently in my PC as a dual-boot (surprisingly very stable) for fetching backups I may have missed.

I use a MacBook, the only setting is peripheral. I have a Razer Tartarus V2, a Razer Basilisk V2 and when playing in the living room, I use my TV.

That’s a ton of storage room.

Yup. Doing videos and play games with it.

So, do you have a place where people watch your videos or are these private ones?

Private, friends and guildies. Sometimes I open up to public.

I usually record my dragon riding through tight spots. Sometimes I have to do several takes, but when I make it, I then add music to the video and save it on my internal hard drive. Since I don’t have social media, I only have friends and family watch it.,
