During this year’s Midsummer Fire Festival I finally got the “What a Long, Strange Trip it’s Been” achievement that I’ve been working on for a while and I was really excited.
It made me wonder what other people’s proudest in-game achievements might be
For me, I’d say either my long strange trip achievement or my pathfinder achievements. Just because they involved a lot of time and effort.
Also, a PS, the violet proto-drake is cute, but I wish they’d give you a title
[Name] the Celebrated
That would be so awesome!!

It would probably be getting green fire on my lock when it first came out. It took me days, because my lock was in awful gear.
I wish they would do something similar for another class someday. Blue mage fire, maybe?

I can’t think of a single one.
Finishing my first dungeon with a bunch of other noobs who had no concept of group roles. We just charged through Deadmines headlong and were so badly damaged at the end that we were equipping grey drops.

Getting every original mage tower appearance except unholy dk and holy pally (I just didn’t like the skins :P) and getting a brutosaur the first day of BFA are tied for me.

Wished they showed the spec plus how many times it took when completing the Achievement, but oh well.
Green Fire / of the Black Harvest - Did this as Demonology Lock; when it was advised to go Destro, and could be feasible as Affliction. Was a long grueling battle and being desperately under geared for it as well taking a total of 666 times to get it.
I was dead set to get it as Demo before I switched to Destro and progressing with anything else during Mist. It was a brutal beating. I will never take off the title, nor remove the green fire effect.

Warlock mount quest was my pride and joy for a long time… then Blizzard decided to give it away to every Warlock, which was at least a bit upsetting.
Of the Black Harvest is probably my favorite… but, it’s account wide, so, again thank you Blizzard. Legion mounts were really nice.
It’s kind of sad that the last time Warlocks were given any real attention was in Mists… and that was 10 years ago. I feel like we’re about due.

Hitting level 80 back in Wrath. I started playing WoW around Easter 2009 with the help of a bunch of great people who taught me how to play and all the things, big and small, that I needed to know to play it. They even gave me the gold to buy my first ground mount, a raptor (my first toon, that I still have happily playing the game, was a Troll Mage).
Getting to 80 was such a long, fascinating, wonderful trip for me. Back then the game considered it an achievement too - you were sent an ingame mail to congratulate you, along with fireworks. The guildies all took me to the Filthy Animal in Dalaran, we ate chocolate cake and got very drunk (well the toons did, I stayed sober).
It was one of the the best days ever, and certainly the best gaming day of my life at that time. Getting that achievement was great. Playing with those people was great.
And still playing today, more than 13 years later, through great, good and bad times, is probably my biggest achievement of all. Despite its ups and downs, I love it still.
Thank you guys from the Good Bunch.

It’s a tossup between getting the Mad World achievement and camping my butt off to find the Voidtalon mount back when it was first added to the game.

Getting the epic dreadsteed on my first warlock, back when you had to do the quest chain.
Getting the Sprite Darter pet back in BC – a huge pain of a quest chain.
