What's your greatest lore want?

Baine at the end of the Mulgore questline was respectable. We went from that to FedExing pieces of himself to Prince Chinlette.

He kinda seems incompetent since BFA though, not even talking about the blue and gold body pillow he keeps hidden under his bed. No Warchief in a time of peace while N’zoth invades reality; Overstepping the newly established council to unilaterally reject the Vulpera; Discarded as irrelevant garbage by The Jailer which prompted him to spend the entire expansion sitting on a step pouting about it; Ignoring the Champion of the Horde in DF to nearly die to the bad meanie centaurs because bullheaded (EYYYY) racism.

It ain’t looking good for Cairne’s pale imitation.

The Vulpera joined the Horde before the Horde Council was formed.

Though it is weird that Baine rejected them over working out a deal in which the Vulpera help them out. It’s essentially want happened anyways, just with Kiro deciding to direct the Vulpera to help the resource issues that were presented to Baine, and Baine realizing that he had been too hasty in rejecting them.

We need Vulpera who discover the joys of engineering and go on to create the worlds first big rig.
We also need Gordunni ogres to finally and formally join the Horde and teach them how to make proper not-Roman roads.

Thess two wants are not connected in any way whatsoever.

honestly think that if ESO had a better combat system, WoW might actually have a problem on its hands.

but ESO’s combat keeps most people away. the ESO diehards swear by it, but nearly every complaint I have ever seen about ESO from people who don’t play it anymore, or are unwilling to try it, has been the combat.

The only thing really keeping it out of the competitive field is the absolutely atrocious and predatory freemium system.

It’s one thing to complain about weaving and other generally distasteful combat mechanics. It’s a completely different problem when your first interaction with the game is the inventory system as a free player that shows absolutely no mercy even if you are a returning player.

People always complain that wow has a newbie hatred but it is absolutely nothing compared to eso.

You are talking immediately filling up your bags in your first tutorial island because materials storage is a premium feature.

They are taking steps to renovate this issue by main lining certain dlc content to be baseline, but the game is just fundamentally flawed from its market system and how almost the entire game centers around it.

A subscription based system should be an incentive not a mandatory requirement, and TESO Is just not going to be new user friendly until material storage is baseline.

Edit: The game is highly immersive but its own market systems break that immersion constantly. Yes, I love learning about lore, but please stop jingling the tip jar in front of me when i’m learning and trying to enjoy your game.

I would be perfectly fine with the Gordunni joining the Horde. That would give us the Stonemaul, Dunemaul, Au Stonemaul, and the Gordunni. Plus a potentially fifth with the Boulderfist, as Lantressor talking about how the Horde had changed, but his Boulderfist hadn’t feels like a tease in that they could change.

Meanwhile I thought of more lore wants.

  • Lantressor of the Blade uniting the Outland and Azeroth branches of the Boulderfist, and joining the Horde.
  • Lor’themar, Halduron, and Rommath having starring heroic roles in Midnight.
  • Gorgonna claiming Gorehowl. Last we knew Garrosh had discarded Gorehowl for Xal’atoh, Desecrated Image of Gorehowl and Gorehowl’s whereabouts are unknown.
  • Seeing Jorin Deadeye and the Bleeding Hollow establishing themselves on Azeroth.

Nathanos is great.

Yeah, this made literally ZERO sense coming from Baine of all people (or really ANY of the non-Grimtotem Tauren for that matter). Just wildly out of character in general. With Gallywix and his crew, Baine’s misgivings were at least exceedingly understandable. But him just reflexively wanting to discount the Vulpera made no sense at all.

If all you want is proper roads, the Zandalari can more than handle that.

To be honest, all of the ogre clans who are affiliated with the Horde are poor choices since they were all either violently forced or tricked into swearing allegiance. I think the only one that would be a good fit, and open up the Horde settling and making recompense for past misdeeds regarding the other clans would be the Boulderfist.

Honestly, with their proclivity to use ogres as labor and muscle, I’m honestly surprised Gazlowe hasn’t tried to do more outreach over the years to the clans who were forcefully made to swear allegiance to the Horde.

Nothing, desire leads to suffering.

We need Samuro, Japanese accent would be great if not oh well.

I am worried that Burning Blade is slowly being associated with warlocks only.

Nah, they are incorporating both. Lantresor and a couple of Warlocks show up for the Kosh’harg.

Shadowlands 2. Nothing they can do to hype up the stakes even higher, after an expansion about literal gates of death threatening to open up and shallow all the existence. What happened to Torghast, what about friends in Shadowlands, does covenants recovered? Is maldraxxy rebuild? They could at least update day of the dead event, so it would be possible to get lore update from shadowlands from souls of the dead visiting Azeroth.

Suffering is an illusion, Exile.

I think it would be dope if Rhonin came back all Dr. Manhattan style. Like some sort of arcane archon.

“Power… Overwhelming!”
