Honestly, just want to see your guys’ thoughts. This is just for fun.
The combat.
Removing content.
Oh, straight to the point. lol
Yeah, the removal of content bothers me a ton as well. It probably would be a tad less bothersome if I had played consistently from 2004 to current time but, since I had quit in 2012, I have been out of the loop and it’s been difficult getting back into the game but… I still have fun.
Favourite: Combat
Least Favourite: People who get hung up on stupid things.
Favorite: Combat
Least Favorite: The out-of-touch developers and their constant flow of bad decisions.
I like grouping up for challenges and everyone bringing something to the table and overcoming something together.
I dislike grouping up for plenty of various reasons.
For me, I just enjoy doing quests and messing around in cities. I do plan to try to do dungeons with some friends (and my partner) but, until then, I just solo.
Favorite: the people
Least favorite: the people
The graphics and music together makes the game world so amazing to me.
My least favorite thing about wow would probably be content droughts but it has been a lot better recently than I was it in the past.
Favorite = pet battles & professions
Least favorite = Pathfinder & group content
(I love dungeons but have had way too many bad experiences with toxic players in pickup groups)
Favorite is playing with friends and guildies and having fun goofing around.
Least liked is pvp.
Yeah. I never liked PvP in any MMO, always attracts the worst humanity has to offer and I’d rather just stick to only PvE. lol
My favorite is the people.
My least favorite is the grind.
Being able to find something to do that matches almost any mood I’m in.
The fact that I’m not doing more productive things with my life (not the game’s fault, but it’s a lament that sometimes crosses my mind while playing)
Least favorite - dealing with the same meta comps every single season. I think they should rotate so all classes get a chance at being viable and invited to higher keys. Warrior tank, monk healer, warlock, rogue, hunter. Imagine that, if you will.
Favorite - nostalgia, and the music. I highly recommend the WOW 20 yrs of music orchestral concert. It’s pretty amazing.
I’ve played since the AQ gates opened, and I’m sure I have at least a few things that are unavailable, but it just boggles my mind that they remove things. WoW is a persistent world, and there’s really no reason to remove anything. It’s a game, it exists for people to have fun. WoW is not a life style, nothing here means anything besides the fun you have with it.
My favorite are the character options. Classes and races, other RPGs don’t really compete.
Least favorite? Idk…Can I just say all of Dragonflight? Is that an option?
Best: Healing. Choatic Raid Prog healing. Gets easier as people get better, gets more fun/crazy when you underheal during farm. Healing under preasure (M+) is also very very fun. I just love healing in this game.
Worse: Gearing. I enjoy building my toon, I enjoy swaping pieces around, I enjoy trying new builds (haste vs crit for example), playing aroind with trinkets, all fun! Its getting to the point where I can rebuild and dont need to grind anymore that isnt as fun.
For example, changing haste amounts feels different and can make it more fun! But grinding low keys for those haste braces is less fun.
Its the pushing to see what I can do vs the prep to get to push.
Favorite : Cinematics, audivisual content
Least favorite : Play the game
Least favorite thing is the overdesigning of classes, to the point that everyone is a solve-all and able to solo things on their own. I liked the game better when classes would synergize and rely on each other to get things done - kinda like classic.
It also makes you feel impactful and special, because every class brought their own unique thing to the table…and when you combined it in a large group setting like a raid - a well balanced team came together and it felt magical
My most favorite thing is Druids ofc! I always wanted to be a Dryad in this game (they were my favorite unit from competitive Warcraft 3, where I would mass them)…so the dream is to be a Dryad Druid one day!
