Someone on the forums made a complaint not too long ago about how the mount running animations were too outdated or something like that (not knocking on anyone)… and now my Tol Barad Spectral Steed twerks and has a helicopter butt!

Invincible but I don’t own it and probably never will since I’ve run that stupid raid 200 - 300 without it dropping and hate that place now.
Out of the ones I own it is Obsidian Worldbreaker for flying since I use it on 90% of my toons and the Mag’har wolf for ground. I do like the War-Torn Reins of the Undercity Plaguebat but it does NOT fit through doors and gets stuck under awnings so I rarely use it.
EDIT: If they fixed the Headless Horsemen’s mount and not have a getty up in it’s step I’d use that but it runs really weird and awkward. Need an updated animation for it.
Shu-Zen is the best, cutest puppers.
But, sometimes I rotate between 3 favorites…

Pink love rocket is my dream mount.
The ones I use and like are gmod and invincible
I like the blood elf pvp mount and the airplane raf mount.
I wish there was a legion Paladin pony mount that matched the Blood Knight fantasy.
My favorites are:
- G.M.O.D.
- Infinite Timereaver
- Headless Horseman’s
But becoz of gazillion mounts in there, I am only using the current Expansion mounts.
What I use right now is:
- Bronze Helicid (Snail Mount) - amused from it’s spacebar animation
- Hand of Bahmethra (Hand Mount)
Of course, my Grand Expedition Yak is always there for armor repair and tmog. And also Sky Golem for my Herbalist toon.
I like big mounts and I cannot lie.
Save a horse, ride a cowboy.

The one that looks like deathwing, which is also the one I don’t have. All the ones I like are the old school epic ground mounts. Really wish they gave the old mounts a face lift. I cannot see my dwarf warrior on anything other than a ram
I wasn’t there for it but goodness how much I would love to have a War Torn Reins of the Undercity Plaguebat. I really would have loved to have that one.
Outside of that my next would be Reins of the Headless Horseman, which took too long to get so I ride that one around all I can.
It’s really character and situationally specific.

Most of my Humans and Nelfs - Some flavour of swift Sabre on the ground.
I like the looks of drakes, but rarely use them as big wings obscure vision, and they make for clumsy, ridiculous looking ground mounts. Hence why I like flying cats.

I like Hyppogryphs, I’m sad I missed out on the one from Darkshore.
Well, it used to be the s12 gladiator mount because it was so unique, a white cloud serpent that had no other mount like it in the game. Unfortunately they added an unarmored version which kinda ruined the uniqueness of it. The Legion gladiator mounts were all really good:
The last season of Legion turned the glowing blue/teal accents fel green, which was a cool touch.
My favorite mount that I actually own is the top one in this pic:
Those are the cata gladiator drakes, I have s9’s which is the one on top. So far it’s the only one of the three that doesn’t also have an unarmored version too, with the s10 drake just being the Obsidian Sanctum mount with armor and the s11 drake getting an unarmored version added in BFA to Island Expeditions.
The only bad part is the mount has several bugs, both with its model and its animations. But it was my first gladiator mount and I love it dearly.

I agree totally…I LOVED my hippogryphs and had almost all of them. They were all I used…that is, until they changed their ground run AND wing animation. I can’t believe someone actually thought that’s how things fly, and that they were improving the existing flight mechanics… It’s so very disappointing that I can’t even use them now.

I wish i could get Ashes Of Al’ar. Been trying to get it for roughly 4 to 5 years now.
I do like my Horde Warlords Deathwheel and Onxyia Drake though. I have a friend give me a really cool wolf mount (don’t remember the name of it) before they quit that i really like as well.
don’t be dramatic did you know that your favorite mount comes out many times in the black market of wow you just have to have several million gold so you can get it in the black market bid inside the game
