I am pretty bored with endgame content in the expansion. That being said I still really enjoy the existing world and the style of play that this game offers.
What is your favorite class as far as playstyle in terms of enjoyment and why???
I am looking to level a toon purely for world immersion and completing lore-related quests and want to try something with several fun or unique playstyles.
All classes/builds are welcome, not looking to min/max at all!

SO and Pandemic Invocation, with Creep Death makes it a fun minigame on Multi-target situations, especially in bgs, plus it has a really cool animation where it fires out shadow. With enough targets in bgs you just constantly fire shadow from your hands.

I like warlocks and hunters. I am not an end game type of person, I like exploring and leveling.

The classes I’ve enjoy in BFA so far:
Paladin - I’ve always liked the lore of a paladin and in the open world and a fair ways into Legion content they are a great solo class. What you can’t solo with ret you probably can with prot.
Warrior - feels like I’m playing a blender. Fast paced wrecking machine.
Rogue - stealth. I love stealth. Wanna get some place that’s cumbersome? Stealth. Also I enjoy the rogue playstyle. I love assassination. It feels like melee affliction back when aff was fun. Outlaw is great as well.

If you’re looking for something different, Druid my friend is simply awesome.
Fast when running old raids in feral.
Has every spec covered, Ranged dps, Melee dps, Tank, and Heals.
Feral gives you stealth, Boomie lets you jump from cliffs and flap (glide) to the bottom.
Feral in travel form doesn’t seem to get dismounted by silly mobs.
It’s a fun class. I also like the way shadowmeld works with it.

Druid has been my go-to “just immerse in the world” class for a while now
You have stealth in all specs, faster run speeds indoors, instant travel/flight form, the ability to gather/interact with quest items in form, a historically complex (if a bit all over the place) melee spec in Feral, a ranged spec with an incredibly fleshed out kit in Balance and a solid/mobile healing spec in resto
What you say? Druid has 4 specs?
Seriously though, Guardian isn’t in a great spot but I find having a tank spec generally useful for solo content. It’s nice to hit a wall in your DPS spec only to be able to switch to tank and solo it down (even if it’s a little on the slow side)
Just, it’s pretty perfect for it honestly. It’s the only class with access to every playstyle (tank, healer, M-DPS & R-DPS) and has a heck of a lot of other little quality of life tidbits

From a PvP perspective I hated all of my classes.
For solo PvE, Blood DKs are fun since it becomes a game trying to determine how much can you pull in order to die.

I really need to give my druid another chance. Seeing posts like this makes me realize that druids probably have the best QoL out of ANY class.

My shaman elemental spec.stacking lavaburst trait worked wonders for me

Ret pal is and always will be my favorite. I’m particularly in love with the way ret is designed this expansion. It’s a load of fun.

Rogues, monks, demon hunters, and druids
Anything with added mobility is a plus.
The peak of serenity is a nice little bit of flavor for monks and I’m sad you can’t get the EXP boost after legion
Feral druids are a lot of fun because you can run over, slash slash slash and run away like a good kitty
Death knights make me feel powerful and walking on water is convenient
Paladins are also fun
If you want to have fun, never play a healer. PvP will be excruciatingly hard, PvE will be a pain with your three total offensive spells. Every time someone dies in a raid or dungeon someone will tell you to unsubscribe.

Nothing like seeing the Crit Chicken jump off a cliff and those tiny wings flapping like a humming birds. Pretty funny!

There is a glyph for “Flap” I think it is called from the Order Hall(?). It pretty much just gives you slow fall/levitate while having one of the most ridiculous animations in the game. Although it is generally pretty redundant unless you are jumping off something SUPER high in the air (since cat form naturally has reduced fall damage), but at that point you can just use Balance Disengage.
Warrior and rogue. Because they’re warriors and rogues.
From a purely fun perspective mages are good too. It’s fun plopping frozen orb down and then raining death onto everything with that buffed blizzard.
Warrior: Leap/Charge and hit hard with big spiky shoulders.
Hunter: Pets for me to get and pew pew
I’d say shaman, monk, rogue or mage are all good choices for feeling involved. Fairly active with not too much reliance on long cooldowns.
Shaman wins sound design and visually. Easily the best looking and sounding class.
Rogue has a nice toolkit, despite the pruning and utter butchery of sub in Legion.
Monk is quick and generally reliable, doesn’t depend on procs at all.
Mage will blow up world mobs effortlessly, and if you are frost then nothing without a ranged attack can even touch you.
Hunter is only worth it if you play survival. Mm and BM are among the least interactive specs in the game.
Edit: I did not want to reply to this guy Blizz, why you do dis?
