…oh, wait, I did read that. I keep getting it confused with GRRM’s “A Song of Ice and Fire,” which I’ve also read - but, having read it, I’ll never watch the HBO series.

Oh, wait, I got one! Familia Romana by Hans H Ørberg. It’s a book that teaches Latin through immersion. It starts off with fairly simple sentences that an English speaker can understand (e.g., “Roma in Italia est”), then slowly builds up in complexity. No English, no rules of grammar, just Latin.

Fantastic idea for a book. I’ve never made it past the first page.
