What's your chill game?

Besides anything in WoW ofc.

The game you can play with your brain off. You’ve had a few too many. You’ve imbibed too much of your personal vice. Or maybe you’re just unwinding from too much work. The game you can slip into like warm butter. What’s the game?

Still wow, but maybe just 2’s or something instead of pushing 3’s :stuck_out_tongue: (arena if that wasn’t clear).

Otherwise perhaps halo and once D4 comes out, that.

I usually turn to simulators:

Cities: Skylines
Flight Simulator 2020
Train Sim World
American Truck Sim
Euro Truck Sim 2

The only alternate Online Style games that I currently dabble in is SWTOR and GW2. GW2 is about as close to that Japanese art style on characters that I can get to. I am just not a fan of the art style. I know a lot of people find it engaging. Especially the final fantasy players however I find it incredibly off-putting.

With all that said I do play tons of AAA RPG titles. Way too many to name. I will say that shadow of the Tomb Raider is one of my all-time favorites

7 Days to Die

Madden 23 is a big one as are the WWE games for my Xbox One X.

Audio surf
Bloons TD6 (easy maps)
Maplestory for the mindless grinding awhile listening to podcast

Use to live cs 1.6 on those surf maps

Besides wow, supreme commander 2.

Usually skirmish mode playing against computer (bots) on hard settings.

It’s from 2011 sure but I don’t know I just really like it. Over 300 hrs played in steam.

Really any game. I don’t have a dedicated comfort brain turn off game really, since just playing video games just chills me out and helps me to unwind. Especailly in something heptic and chaotic/stressful like Far Cry, Remnant: From the Ashes, Dying Light, GTA, Racing and Skateboarding games, and so on.

Though if i have to pick one, it has to be Skyrim. It’s pretty chill. And speaking of Chill, i’m currently on Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed.

Just running around doing random stuff in Skyrim or Oblivion can be pretty chill.

I also like logging into New World and just mindlessly grind gathering professions.

I’m still playing D3 frequently to just relax. The seasonal themes are usually pretty fun, and I enjoy running conquests.

If I’m playing something non-Blizzard though, it is probably Pokemon. I love shiny trading.

Sid Meyer’s Railroads! or The Sims 4

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has been one of mine for some time. I just picked up the Remastered edition for a few dollars on EA the other day, and it’s a significant improvement visually and especially in that it allows you to skip all of that game’s version of exposition that couldn’t be skipped in the originally.

I really need to find a new game to replace WoW, though.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister is an awesome game and is on gamepass.

Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Not a journey I go through often, but I do like to do one full playthrough at least once a year. Despite doing it time and again, it just does not seem to get old for me. Sad part is I prefer controller, but PC does not have that option without some effort.
