From the looks of things eventually every version(Expac) of the game will have at least one server.
How does someone preferring Vanilla, TBC, or Wrath to Retail have an impact on you if they wouldn’t be playing the game at all if they couldn’t play Vanilla, TBC, or Wrath?
Blizzard has to protect their IP(Nuke private servers) or it’ll become public domain and you’ll have all sorts of WarCraft shovelware on Steam.

I always find these questions so bizarre. What’s not to love about an entire community leveling then ranking together without rank 14s walking around to grief? It’s an obvious answer to the thread, yet people still keep asking the question as if there’s something confusing.

they just want retail 2.0 (which is what SoD is) to play between retail expacs.
gotta play thru vanilla to get to tbc and wotlk. i think the better question is why are u upset? be patient and see if they give us tbc era and wotlk era

Sounds like it’d be really easy to get your Epic mount, then…though in the worst ways possible.
To be fair, not doing so would be leaving money on the table, one of capitalism’s worst sins.

do your think maybe theres new people that come along and wanna have the same experiences the rest of us did? 5 years is kind of a long time when youre in yout teens. ive have 2 boys that where alittle teo young to play 2019 classic. they are super excited to see what a fresh wow is like.
