Whats with this BOOST crap?

Trying to level this Mage, I cannot find a party… Standing at Stockades for 2 hours with an entire party of people standing there.

I am like hey guys we have what we need to do this here! They just want to Boost! Everyone LF Boost Mara, LF Boost SM, LF Boost RFD, what is going on!

Its ridiculous!

Imagine being a mage and not AOE grinding yourself on the murlocs just north of Theramore.

People are just leveling alts and have no want to do any traditional leveling, you are a minority my friend.

Welcome to the reality that is retail classic, just because you change the game doesn’t mean the players will change

Aye blizz should remove xp gains from kills made by party members over 10 lvls.

Its a cancer on the leveling experience.

Half of world chat and trade chats are mages spamming selling boo zt.

Let’s face it. Leveling has always been… not one of the strong points in WoW. It is fun to go through zones and do quests the first or maybe even second time, but when you’re on your third or fourth alt, do you truly, honestly give a darn about the quests, or are you just wanting to get that alt to 60 so you can get it in your guild’s raid rotation if they, say, need your shaman over your mage because it is a little light on heals tonight.

There’s the irony again.
Skipping 60 levels of content in order to run the same handful of raids repeatedly.

You are a mage mate AOE grind till 60 then you’ll be able to find plenty of groups people are boosting because they have gone through it all already my personal i solo grinders my hunter to 60 then did AOE Grinding on the mage all way to 60 didn’t do a single dg or quest after 30 now I’m leveling a rogue but I’m boosting it because Im tired of the same ol same now I’ve opened up a new pathway to learn had one of the mages boosting my rogue teach me a thing or two also partied with him and did some Mc and ony with his guild that didn’t even give me a hard time for not having full pre bis on my mage and Keep mind people like to play games the way they like to play them you can’t hate on it wether you think it’s bad for the game or not it’s 100 times better then tokens and store bought advantages like max character boosts want to know why? Because I earned ever last bit of gold I’m using to boost my rogue to 60 How are yo going to tell me what I can and can’t spend my gold on?

Those people already have leveled to 60 during primetime. Leveling now is a shadow of its former self and people aren’t interested in doing it. Boosting wouldn’t be as much of athing if there was a decent leveling population. The people you see getting boosts wouldn’t be leveling alts at all if boosts didn’t exist.

where you been in a rock?

It’s their choice to value one style of content over another.

I’ve seen twelve-year-olds with more respect for the English language than this. Every time I look through it, it gets worse and worse. This is the 3AM Walmart shopper of posts.

The heck is this supposed to mean?

Did you attempt to say “Have you been living under a rock?”

And if so, begs the question, does it matter?

Meybe i did meybe i didnt, either way, you got trolled and burried.

Stocks is the worst instance in the entire history of wow and the fact that it is good for boosting is its only redeemable quality.

The people who only want to boost have saved you from running that garbage instance.

There is a difference between ‘content’ and ‘enjoyable content’. For many people, leveling is not enjoyable after the first time.

I dunno, there are plenty of dungeons even in classic that I’d say are worse than stockades. Wailing Caverns, Uldaman, and Sunken Temple are all worse. I refuse to step into any of those places unless it is a guild group and one of my guildies REALLY needs the help. Stockades is like Ragefire Chasm, not bad, but not good either. Just pretty straight-forward and bland.

The discussion is about boosting dungeons. If you want to make a case that running dungeons is more boring than running the same handful of raids in perpetuity, try to make that case. Edit: And is grinding gold for boosts in any way “enjoyable”?

I really have to wonder why many of players of wow even play an mmorpg in the first place.

There is a big difference between aoe grinding and buying boosts.

Aoe grinding is challenging and takes skills while buying boots is just super lazy and a lucre commercial transactions.

Back in Vanilla, lowbies actually formed groups and ran dungeons together. Nobody actually wants to play the game anymore.

Most people have done the dungeons, have completed the quests, and have grinded far more than they would ever want to again.

You either choose to play endless endgame content or endless leveling content and neither is really any better than the other. What is better for a lot of people is the fact that endgame content is more easily accessed at this point, tends to have more people and thus friends/guildies playing it, and the content and rewards are actually relevant and not immediately replaced.
