What's with the flood of new forum accounts

There's been a flood of low level players with little to no achievement points posting on the forums as of late

Don't take me the wrong way here, I'm fine with new players and alts but its been a strange amount of faceless 0-300 achievement point people popping in. They're not so much on general discussion but more so other parts of the forums like server forums and the vanilla section

I for one welcome our new faceless overlords who are taking over the forums

There's been a increase of them is my point

There was always some here and there, but it feels like they've recently became much more common

Does anyone know how to capture a shadow person? Who do we call for this? A priest? Ghostbusters?

Maybe they are replacements for accounts that were silenced, suspended or banned?

Nah I feel like people talking ish from their lvl 1s has been pretty steady thing for a long time

probably connected to the big increase in negativity lately, people are posting on these alts to hide their main character identity because they know that what they are saying will make them look bad

People should focus on the actual "problem/subject/logic"

Instead of caring about achievements/who is this guy.

That's why they removed the downvote button.. people care way too much about who speaks..

You need Peter Pan, and a needle & thread - he tried a bar of soap. It didn't work.

I think it is just a lot of folks wanting to shoot their mouths off without having that opinion connected to the characters / Realms / guilds they play on. And that being the case, the obvious question is "why not?"

Why so concerned with the avatar people post with?

Honestly, I really want to understand why. I feel like you think it's a negative thing to post with a "non main character"? Why is that?

They feel like they're celebrities or big time players that complaining in the forums will give them a bad rep so they use shadow characters.

I often see this, but after looking at their Achs, believe it's some Forum bug not always updating stuff on new toons. Not always, but mostly.

Yeah this too. And stuff like, for example right now I have a realm transfer pending on my account and havent been able to log in so my toon looks weird and my achievements aren't showing properly

It's usually just somebody posting on a lowbie faceless alt to hide their identity when making absurd/controversial comments.
