Good lord is this what the state of the American education has become? Dozens of typos, capitalization in the middle of a sentence for no reason, missing words in all the quest text. Get an ACTUAL QA department and don’t let your kids do it Blizz.
Idk if it’s the education or just the slop the entertainment industry has been putting out for the past 20 years or so has just lowered the bar so far that anything goes.
No new ideas, we’re here playing a 20year old game. People get complacent is how I look at it.
Typos in quest text are quite possibly some of the least offensive things to fly under the radar.
My favourite to date was when they re-introduced deadly throw as a talent it used “Combo pioints”
it made me happy that there was a human typing my tooltips.
Yeah, I figured a lot of stuff was just templated.
Sprucecrown was named Sprucecrow for the Superbloom quest.
It’s actually weird how common typos are these days. You can find them in major publications like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
No corporation is too big or too proud to skimp pennies on their editing department I guess.
Is there even a copy editor for quest text? Ought to be if not.
Sorry I DonT KnoW. Grammar Is Really hurd? I fan spel relally well!!!
Were there a lot of typos I just skimmed over?
Only thing that stood out to me text-wise was how they’d just randomly choose to capitalize kaldorei. Right on the back of a quest where every mention of the race name was lowercase, as most races are.
Granted, I was playing with a severe headache last night and was rather loopy by the end of the evening.
I don’t usually notice stuff like that. Could be because I don’t put enough ice in my Jack Daniels.
I like the part where you complain about capitals in the middle of a sentence and then use capitals in the middle of a sentence.
You would think they would have access to Microsoft Word spellchecker.
I have to agree. Whoever has been writing the story and dialogue for Dragonflight needs to be kicked out of the entire industry and never be allowed to write anything again. I’ve seriously read stories from 13 year olds that were written better.
Depends which state you’re in.
Nothing should “fly under the radar”. People like you are why the game is the way it is. Stop apologizing for them especially for things that are easily fixable and spellcheck/grammerly does it for you or vastly helps.
Nah, I have little to no influence over what happens with the game, lmao.
Your wallet literally pays their salaries.
I knew this was somehow all your fault Kennie!
I doubt there’s a single person in the region unsubbing over a typo in a quest text.
