like the title says, the arena world quest, where each time it changes which of the bosses you gotta kill, it only starts if someone is leveling a fresh toon and does that quest line, otherwise it can’t be done, what’s up with that?
Hmm, have yet to try it on a 70,I can’t remember if I was 70 doing it.
i just help till the target mob spawns then move along. if this squishy mage ends up alone, i do other WQs and check back later (blood dk main can solo though it takes awhile)

yea, this is my main, i’m fully leveled and such.
I’m not sure if it has anything to do with the associated quest being started. I think it’s just bugged. You can often use the group finder to get to another realm where it’s not bugged so that you can complete it though.

^ this. If you’ve completed the storyline side quest for it, you can talk to the goblin and he’ll arrange the fight that you need for the WQ. Problem is, half of the time you can’t actually talk to him because he’s bugged out.

You have to talk to the NPC up top to force spawn an enemy and it depends who is on what quest as to what NPC spawns.
If a levelling character is doing it they will spawn the one they need, if you do it for the WQ you will spawn your one.

Yeah he goes a little quiet sometimes. Just staring out into the abyss, unresponsive, thinking of all those poor mages that got two shot.

You can’t talk to the goblin if there is currently a fight in progress.
My suspicion about the bug has been that certain ways of fights ending that aren’t releasing their lock on him properly. But I have never been able to reproduce it consistently.
(edit: I have not encountered any problems with this week’s fight myself)
(edit2: the second fight of the week however is broken)

This is why the Maldraxxus version was superior. You just needed to kill 2 of any of the spawns.
