They should have left all PUG groups as “PL” but I think they are using this season to gather information to see how they can improve it going forward and next season it will be an option. Sort of like how they used the last season in SL to test out a couple of raid concepts that apparently didn’t pan out as they intended.
no it isn’t - you don’t understand the difference if you are claiming that.
Personal loot in a raid of 20 people with 10 leatherwearers and one plate wearer, they all have equal chances at gear. Group loot in that same raid the 10 leatherwearers all have to compete against each other for the same piece of gear and any plate gear that drops (and it is just as likely to drop) all goes to the plate wearer.
I think because you see all the loot that you can possible get and then roll need and see someone’s else get it…pisses people off.It doesnt bother me…it helps me decided…and if I dont get my need roll oh well who cares…the world is not going to end…if I dont get the need piece…there always the vault…which is hilarious…so I was in a raid and I really needed a ring I need rolled on it did not get win the roll BUT, , guess what I got a better ring via the vault…so I got what I needed anyway…people need to stop being such crying babies all the time blizzard owes you nothing…no loot no content nothing…remember that…there are here for the money and esports…
Remove GL and PL for raids. Remove ALL loot (except special things like mounts).
Give like… 50 “LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic tokens” per boss kill, and then give us a gear vendor that we can buy the gear we want. Make the prices give people the ability to get 1-2 pieces of loot per week (tier pieces cost more).
It will slow down progression for loot funneling guilds (something Blizz wants to do anyways), but will benefit the majority of players by giving them the ability to gear up based on their raid participation.
