What's with Blizzard making the LFR loot more complicated than it has to be?

Editing Group Loot isn’t a solution. It isn’t even a bandaid and a waste of manpower and time.

Know what is an easy solution that solves all the issues players have with group loot in LFR?

Reverting it back to Personal Loot.

Problem solved and the majority are happy.

Because their priority is nolonger fun and QoL, It is about squeezing out ways to string people along at every step of the way.

If this was not the case. Guilds and premades would be able to choose any loot style and randomized content would default to PL.

Fun fact

It changed nothing about the amount of loot you get…

Then do it. It’ll make the majority happy and doesn’t require wasting time and manpower on editing the group loot system.

Personal loot was terrible. The current system is vastly superior.

They should have left all PUG groups as “PL” but I think they are using this season to gather information to see how they can improve it going forward and next season it will be an option. Sort of like how they used the last season in SL to test out a couple of raid concepts that apparently didn’t pan out as they intended.

… No, it isn’t. Hence why there’s so many complaints about it.

it’s because the casuals werent seeing enough content.

The only complaint anyone ever sees is “THAT PERSON GOT IT AND I DIDN’T.”

that is just so false - but I am not surprised a plate wearer would be pushing that nonsense

says another plate wearer

Statistically it is entirely true, also this isn’t my main.

I won two weapons one LFR run. And I always seem to win tier. Was able to roll need on a trinket too, but I seriously didn’t need it.

That cannot be intended, and it apparently wasn’t according to the blue post.

no it isn’t - you don’t understand the difference if you are claiming that.

Personal loot in a raid of 20 people with 10 leatherwearers and one plate wearer, they all have equal chances at gear. Group loot in that same raid the 10 leatherwearers all have to compete against each other for the same piece of gear and any plate gear that drops (and it is just as likely to drop) all goes to the plate wearer.

Then you haven’t been paying attention.

I have. That’s what every crybaby post about how awesome personal loot was is about. It’s all very me, me, me, I’m the most important.

The fact that you’re saying this just proves how out of touch you are.

Yeah. You keep crying about how you don’t get all the loot and other people get a chance at your loot, bud.

I think because you see all the loot that you can possible get and then roll need and see someone’s else get it…pisses people off.It doesnt bother me…it helps me decided…and if I dont get my need roll oh well who cares…the world is not going to end…if I dont get the need piece…there always the vault…which is hilarious…so I was in a raid and I really needed a ring I need rolled on it did not get win the roll BUT, , guess what I got a better ring via the vault…so I got what I needed anyway…people need to stop being such crying babies all the time blizzard owes you nothing…no loot no content nothing…remember that…there are here for the money and esports…

Remove GL and PL for raids. Remove ALL loot (except special things like mounts).

Give like… 50 “LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic tokens” per boss kill, and then give us a gear vendor that we can buy the gear we want. Make the prices give people the ability to get 1-2 pieces of loot per week (tier pieces cost more).

It will slow down progression for loot funneling guilds (something Blizz wants to do anyways), but will benefit the majority of players by giving them the ability to gear up based on their raid participation.
