What's with all the disconnects?

Past couple days, I keep getting stuck in a forever-loop in dungeons when they’re finished. It kicks me out of game, then I login right back to dungeon, and kicked again, and so on ad infinitum. Same thing started happening in BGs too.

To break the spell, I had to quickly hearth out before the countdown timer kicked me again.

That’s odd, haven’t had that happen to me. Is it specific dungeons? shadowlands dungeons only?

i’ve been disconnected a few times when I port to Oribos. Get the message I was DC’ed, select a toon and log back in.

I still can’t get into the maw without disconnecting. As soon as that view of the player falling into the maw starts I get disconnected.

I’m only running SL dungeons, so not sure if exclusive to them. One of them was Sanguine Depths.

The pattern is:

  1. Kill last boss
  2. Click “Leave instance group”
  3. Get disconnected
  4. Login again, where it puts me back at end of dungeon.
  5. After a few moments, the “You will be removed from instance group in 5 seconds” message appears.
  6. Disconnects again.
  7. Rinse, repeat.

This happened in 2 different dungeons, and 1 BG. I’ve never seen this before, so I figured maybe they broke something in Tuesday maintenance.

It could just be a general disconnect problem, where Blizz’s server then gets confused and has no idea where to put me afterwards.

Either way, it’s incredibly annoying. Dungeons aren’t supposed to be a never-ending purgatory. Well…anymore than usual.
