Is there a meme I’m missing or something? why so much hate against them?

Usually we have pretty strong opinions regarding what races should be allowed as paladins, or are pretty heavily pro alliance. We are vocal about it, and as such hated. At least that is my take on it, who knows tbh. I only just started noticing it all within the past week or two.

Because they always hate on us Elves but secretly love us Elves. Unlike Orc Warrior or Dwarf Shaman who just simply hate on us Elves.

Additionally Male Human Paladins take the crusader RP too far.

Won’t deny this. I do love me a righteous crusade. The rest is false though, we do not hate the elves. Those dirty trolls on the otherhand…

That is up to you personally but I don’t think Orc Shaman are generally anti-elf anymore so than the typical Orc.

It’s an inside joke here at the GD really, and I think I was one of the GD posters who started the phenomenon.
For me, it’s all about celebrating being normal. People used to think that being normal was boring, but these days a lot of them have taken it to the next level, just too far, and being normal has become bad or even wrong. We live in a culture where being Wicked is celebrated. Maybe it’s just me seeing things that way. But I just wanted to bring normalcy to people’s mind by playing this paladin.

To me the far more cringy posts usually originate from 1) Blood elf demon hunters 2) blood elf death knights 3) undead warlocks/death knights/rogues. >_> human paladins are just the standard righteous fury I shall smite thee wicked villain! types…which given the class, is appropriate.

This could all be fixed if they allowed pandaren into the knights of the silver hand. You would gain my respect that’s for sure. I would look great in judgement armor, just sayin

We don’t hate the fact that the horde is getting another paladin race. We hate the reason why, because it makes very little sense. Blood Elf paladins, made and continue to make sense with the evolution of their lore. Tauren paladins did not make much sense, as they are basically glorified plate wearing solar aspected balance druids, but given the honorable nature of the tauren it was willing to be overlooked to an extent. The Zandalari trolls, make no sense. The only thing that made prelates make sense in the first place, was that they derived their power from Rezan. Rezan is dead, and the prelates were left powerless until suddenly without explanation, they can use their power again. That is what so many have issues with. Paladins typically have some pretty strict lore, and if you could write them into the story in a proper way, noone would question it. Tauren and Zandalari Trolls paladin lore is more or less an afterthought at best. My personal stance is no paladin would willingly do the things the horde does in the first place, as it is against their code so horde paladins are kind of a walking contradiction but what can you do :man_shrugging:
