I hate that they just abandoned some specs. The care taken with some class trees (like warrior) is obviously far greater than things like VDH or Bear druid.
It’s just so frustrating to know that many of the theorycrafters spend time suggesting great fixes, just to be ignored.
But in a dungeon.
My rogue is 64 and i havent stepped foot in dragonland (farming allied races thru bfa) so i magically get the dragongliding dg with no said glider available. 2 way-off-target flightpaths and a wipe later i find myself kicked.
I was just thinking about the Nokud Offensive, I did that the 1st time without a single clue what i was doing, Luckily for me i was already griding to obtain all the glyphs to upgrade my riding so i luckily checked my map to see where everyone was headed and followed but what if u have never unlocked dragonflight? you would be screwed and promptly kicked, i think no one has patience for new players anymore and the overal mood from dungeons grps is just getting toxic. PVP would be better off at least u cant get kicked even if ur damage isnt up to par
For me it’s also professions. Professions used to be a semi-passive outlet I used to earn some income, but this expansion they require way too much investment to earn anything. I settled on gathering and disenchanting, because that felt like the only reliable thing.
I used enchanting as a passive income, because I would disenchant gear and sell enchants, but now I need to specialize deep to get any useful enchants, so I didn’t bother. Maybe it was a mistake.
I don’t know, I liked how old consumable professions were more passive and didn’t require big investment. It’s nothing new for blacksmithing or leatherworkinh, but for it’s a bit much for others I think.
There’s someone on my server that’s been placing orders for azureweave bags with no mats and low commission and unfortunately someone has been filling them, cause those same bags end up on the AH by the scammer
For me the ideal is Wrath. I could see the trainer, the vendor of the recipes and the simple daily to earn the currency to buy recipes.
I guess my problem with it that I don’t see a clear path to earning the profession knowledge. I need to actively learn where to get the knowledge and the game doesn’t really point you towards where to get it, there’s no standard way to get it. There’s a whole weak aura to track it. That says something. That is an unsatisfying thing to me.
It’s probably good if you’re really on top of it, but as a side thing it’s a bit much.
Starting with 10.1, the worst part of Dragonflight for me will be flying through those windy tunnels anytime I want to go into the new zone. Found out last night that if you fly too quickly, the rock wall that normally phases away is still present.
The rockwall despawns as normal, but if you smack your face into it, you’ll still lose all of your momentum.
I used to love Star Wars still love all the ones Lucas did.
Disney+ Star Wars is completely off in character creation, Character progression, Story arc, Plot points etc etc etc…The only thing static is the look of it and some of that was off in some scenes.
Mandolorian / Book of Boba Fett, this is greatest character assassination I ever witness, How did they not tie a story together with these two not helping some old clone troopers/ revenge/redemption story.
Grogru-AKA baby Yoda -Created for selling of toys.
IG-88(IG-11) My favorite bounty hunter from Empire strikes back an insane Assassin droid, turned into walking baby stroller for Baby Yoda! wtf… anyway yeah nothing remains the same for long, other hands and minds come along try to improve or redo the magic, some pull it off but most do not.
FOMO makes some people on GD rabid. I have two words for you, which should bring back a lot of memories:
Slime. Cat.
I think that just like noticing as you grow older that once perky parts are sagging and getting wrinkled, we have to accept that the blood-and-thunder 46-step-attunement-chain WoW that became the most successful MMORPG ever is now uhmmm… how does one put it without getting banned… a bit heavy on the social-messaging, expectations-subverting + harlequin romance side of things.
It’s the same crew that managed to get Ford, Hamill and Fisher together in the same movie but never had a single scene with Luke, Han and Leia together. Expectations Subverted.
The gear level requirement for the new LFR wing. You can’t get into the current wing even if you completed the first one. No. You have to do other garbage that I just don’t care about doing. The LAST thing I enjoy in this game is LFR and you take that away from me, I have to ask myself why I’m paying this company money for making it no longer fun.
Snail mail, and yes, the overly convoluted now RNG crafting system (until you max out knowledge and profession of course, at which point it becomes deterministic).
My favorite thing is the alchemist stones. First you gotta get a lot of rep that dries up before you hit the threshold you need so you’re stuck doing world quests with a contract up. Now, depending on which stone you want to make, you need to level all the generalist points (there’s a TON), a bunch of the phials tree, and then the potion tree. You then need to level the associated potion/phial specific knowledge.
Jewelcrafting was equally miserable. The recipes you really want like Lariat (which just got nerfed until late season 2 when sockets are more common) or Ring-Bound hourglass are RNG drops. FFS. They are pretty darned rare, and massively expensive because of it. Similar story with leveling JC knowledge you need a metric crapton of it and you need both rings and necks leveled if you want to do both.
It’s the whole I’ve gotta level a node specifically for this slot crap that needs to go die in a fire. It’s enough to expect folks to max out several generalist nodes without further driving the knife in. The mats system as a whole is a mess with some yup, you guessed it, RNG attached to it again until knowledge caps out. ONce you’ve exhausted the weekly sources for knowledge, you’re stuck doing rng stuff for dragon shards if you want to level faster, and they’re rare as hell.
Layer on all the rather high rep requirements on recipes and you have large swathes of time where you’re just waiting for the next week to be able to make something, or waiting for world quests to spawn to get more rep. Trying to catch up late to the crafting game is pretty terrible because of it. IT has taken me quite a while to hit Valdrakken 19 for example. The reps also grant crafting knowledge at least, but again it does so pretty late in the reps and long after you finish the quests in zones.
I agree with this. Why in the world did they add all these currencies. We’ve got, I think, 4 or 5 separate crests to shoot for now. That also includes the fragments to make said crests. Then there’s barter bricks and flightstones. I think there’s a few others to amount to 12+ new currencies added in on a single patch. This of course doesn’t include all the other crap we’ve already been farming to include the newer onyx ring and the 478 different gems for it. It’s just a lot and it’s quite overwhelming. It’s my only real gripe with all of dragonflight. Ive really enjoyed the rest of it other then the obvious. The player base ruins the game more the blizzard ever did lol.
