For me it’s professions. They’re all so needlessly bloated and overcomplicated now that professions have become a part of the game that just does not exist for me anymore. I used to love professions but now, as far as I’m concerned, they do not exist.
The only reasons I’m not deleting professions on all my alts and just going double gathering is the hope that maybe next expansion they’ll bin this mess and I can enjoy crafting again, because I like being able to make some old items, and the Loot-a-rang. That’s it.
So, how about you, what’s the worst part of DF for you?

The lack of dragons.
For real, we should have as many dragons as Legion gave us artifact weapons.
I’m talking at LEAST 12 different models to get colors and manuscripts for.
Four is a joke.
At the very least I was expecting dragon-riding for our older dragon mounts- No, apparently.
Also echoing sentiments about the profession rework- I abandoned professions because of that.

The playerbase.
WoW is the most accessible as it has ever been, throwing piles and piles of gear and conveniences out like its Final Fantasy, yet it’s never enough.

the queue times of solo shuffle… they take way too long

Still being forced to dragon glide if you want to not ground pound way past time for regular flying to be released.

Same tired formula used over and over.

Either the lack of daily quests, or the elite areas that are near impossible to solo.

yeah same here
it’s the complexity of crafting and profession stuff now
all these people spamming trade non-stop about their lariat or crafting or how they can craft your stuff but it’s all so convoluted
and the massive amount of random currencies and tokens and what not, it’s just simply too much
I don’t play all day, maybe if I did I’d understand them better but with my limited time I want to come home and play for an hour and go to sleep
so it’s been hard for me to stay interested. luckily I can try and just pvp here and there and that works. But yeah crafting is my least favorite part too

that’s because there’s no healers
because:
- not fun
- expected to keep stupid alive while also dealing mad dps and landing kills
- often the target of relentless CC so it’s stressful
- warriors l0lz and 50% healing reduction exists
- i could add to this list all day
healers aren’t fun, nobody wants to play healers, queue times are long because hurr where all the healers at
this is a problem BLIZZARD needs to fix, by making heals worth playing, by making pvp better and more balanced, or even REDUCING the amount of healers needed

Bi-weekly WQ resets, and no normal flight option yet.

Professions
The thousand different tokens added by Blizzard per patch of which 999 go to our bag and not to the “tokens” tab.
The current state of M+ in general.
10.1 changes a lot of things, but until I test those changes I can’t say if it’s going to improve anything or not.
The frustration I feel of being forced to change my role (of so many years) to DPS simply because Blizzard hates Healers.

Yep. My bags are full enough without having 87 different items just taking up space because Blizz didn’t want to make them a currency for some reason.

For me, it’s that Ion still has a job.

Right now?
The open world rewards now make you “upgrade” a baseline piece of green gear that is well below the item level of gear you got a week ago.
Pretty enraged the fact they decided to revert and go from an item level reward that is based off your item level, to a garbage green item level reward forcing you to acquire a ton of currency to get it to where it should be to start with.
Real slap in the face (again).

professions.
still the lack of certain things, like making hunter pets trainable to different specs, or no dual wielding for survival yet.

Otters, beavers, and ducks are not Ferocity hunter pets.

dailies made biweekly.
Dont like that change at all.
never cater to players who cant tell the difference between ‘required’ and ‘optional’.

Seriously. I thought SL was bad for bag space because of anima, but DF is so, soooooo much worse.
Why so many qualities of every crafting mat? Why so many items that combine into other items? Why are Rousing and Awakened two different items instead of just having recipes call for 10 Rousing? Why not just make gear upgrades cost 15 [Upgrade token] and make it a currency, rather than having multiple stacks of items taking up so much bag space? Why not make Barter Bricks a currency?
They added an entire new bag just for reagents and somehow I still have less bag space than before.
And it’s especially funny because FFXIV had multiple reagent qualities all along and the most recent expansion removed them because the devs agreed they were taking up too much inventory space. Kind of hilarious to see WoW simultaneously create the same problem for themselves.

Yeah. They add one new reagent bag and then sextuple the number of materials.
