Gotta say Dazar.
For such a grandiose city, it’s transportation/accessibility is horrendous.
Does such a shame to a nice pyramid.
That quest where they send you back to the Exodar to defend(was that legion?) reminded me how terrible the city is laid out
i tended to keep getting lost in Undercity, so i’m not so upset Miss Banshee decided to blight it up
Yup hands down.
Used to be Undercity before the Alliance nuked it, now it’s Dazaralor, which the Alliance have tried to nuke.
Edit: To be fair to Blizzard, it is a very beautiful city, and the art team, or who ever plans that sort of thing just killed it. Buuuut, without flying or gliders it’s not a fun place to get around, hence the four flight paths.
Meanwhile Boralus and SW are beautifully designed with pretty easy access/direction for everything lol.
Dazaralor is bad but it is at least an open space where you can see everything, Undercity on the other hand is a claustrophobic hole in the ground, it is annoying as hell to move in there, specially if you cannot fly.
The Alliance are really trying to help us all out here…
They also have the benefit of having the best music in the game.
If there’s any reason to play Alliance, its the cities and music.
Have been to Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Exodor, Shattrath City, Dalaran and Orgrimmar and think:
Shattrath City is the worst due to the slums.
It really is for your own good.
I never thought about it that way but I think you’re right.
Another vote for Dazaralor. Maybe playing horde won’t be so bad there now that I can fly.
Yeah gotta give it to the Alliance side soundtrack too. We got epic music/zones to make up for everything else lol.
Literally spend 3 minutes in Orgrimmar and it gets easy.
Worst: Dazaralor
Runner Up: Orgrimmar
In a way maybe it’s Blizzard’s way of showing a rag tag group of races banding together for survival versus a military rank and file alliance.
Everyone complaining about Dazar’alor clearly never been to Darnassus. That place was already a maze as is. And forced the longest travels everywhere.
Imagine having to walk to the port in Darnassus instead of having a portal to the boats. I never minded Darn because it’s so peaceful and I loved the aesthetic. It’s set up similar to Undercity where once you know the area’s its not bad getting around
Undercity. It just spins my head right round down underground.
