I have a borked left hand, neurological injury. I only play PvE, mostly solo. What’s the slowest, easiest DPS class and spec now that the new patch is out? Maybe one of the warrior builds?

(Commentary): Arcane Mage works pretty okay just spamming Arcane Blast, honestly. You might run into mana management problems though.

Beast Mastery Hunter is always the easiest spec. If you if you are slower to hit the buttons or don’t do it right, things will be fine.

Fury warrior. Fun + survives pretty easily in solo PvE. Easiest is DH, though it has a lot of fast paced button spamming–which it sounds like you’re trying to avoid.
Fury is one of the fastest pace specs in the game.

Slow? Unholy 9.0 is right here for ya however it requires managing 2 resources and a pet but I agree with ret, it’s easy and slowish
Hey I actually have some knowledge here. I had some hand injuries years ago when last I played and I can safely say, without a shadow of a doubt, that BM hunter is your friend.
One of the absolute best changes that I made then and continue to use to this day is unbinding my mouse-wheel from camera zoom and using mouse-wheel up/down + shift/ctrl/alt modifiers to lessen the load on my hands while I recovered. I ended up significantly reducing the motion required to play and it allowed me to play without hindering my recovery as well!
The big thing to look into is APM (Actions Per Minute) and there used to be some spreadsheets out there that had them listed. Even more button-heavy classes MIGHT be easier for you to play if they have a lower APM! So keep that in mind - fury warriors for example have 3-4 main rotational abilities but they can pop off very quickly.

Also, while I don’t know your situation or how you like to play, a mouse with a keypad on the side could maybe help you out quite a bit. Something like a Logitech G600 or Razer Naga.

Hmmmm… MM hunter isn’t too bad. Lots of casted shots. Maybe assassin rogue? I don’t know about slow but it feels pretty smooth to me. Destro lock was mentioned, that may be good also.

Yes, DH is mostly GCD locked, but it is just spamming 1 or 2 buttons most of the time. Then add in furious gaze (or the Shadowlands equivalent passive), it’s really fast…when you’re geared. This is a lot more straining. A warrior at least has a rotation. Less likely to affect a damaged hand…which is what this thread is about.
You try a gaming mouse with lots of of key bind buttons? May wanna look into as a option as well.

I’m not arguing that Fury is the more “complex” rotation out of the two, but the fact that the OP wanted a slow spec and you suggested two of the faster ones!
