I agree, we should adjust all damage so people new to PvP have more of a chance. If you are new, take your lumps and try and learn. Have each others backs out there, peel that melee DPS for each other , rotate your interrupts, etc
Guess so, if I don’t like it I don’t play it. Shouldn’t have to.
Nah, they learn nothing. People don’t want free handouts, we all just want to particpate and right now 197 ilvl is just a bystander.
I know I’m not geared but I do skirms a lot w/ 203 ilvl and often 1v2 people. What does a dh with 27k hp learn when he’s rooted and getting one shot through a pillar?
If you and your friends wants the better gear you’ll need to work together to play better improve and hit the cutoffs for that gear.
The gear is available to everyone
It’ll take a year or so for them to be able to get 2100 with me. They’re already getting sick of being stomped by teams with a quarter more health, I doubt they’ll want to stay that long. I stayed back in BC/WOTLK because the gear difference wasn’t nearly as bad as it is now.
I am assuming by a Druid somehow? My guess would be Anti-Magic She’ll and Anti-Magic zone are good CDs to save for when you are rooted behind a pillar.
If you are talking about a Hunter , well, it is a Hunter…
My bad. I meant I play the hunter and shoot demon hunters through walls (while they’re binding shot) with Kyrian cov. Sorry for the confusion.
There is not much to learn other than getting discouraged and not q’ing again.
Sounds like you guys are more casual and will have to wear the casual ilvl gear.
No wonder WoWs sub numbers are going down if this is how we treat casuals now. I used to be able to play with almost equal gear when I played casually back then, not anymore.
Casual scum
Back when, at no point do I remember a time a casual player would expect to have the same gear as a dedicated PvPer
Yeah, that’s the thing. I don’t see this game being popular post Covid. With Torghast, LFG time, conduits, renown etc… I don’t think anyone can realistically be competitive and attend to RL obligations.
Sure it’s fine now that everyone is stuck in quarantine but it takes too much time not only to play arenas but to prepare for them.
If you are discouraged on a Hunter it is completely warranted. Bliz has gutted your class and made it really hard to compete.
I don’t think it was as bad. I don’t remember having a quarter less of people’s health with full battleground gear.
Why should a 1400 player have the same gear as a 2400+ player? Your gear is a reflection of the content you participate in.
Sorry it’s not fAiR and you feel bad. Either embrace that you’re a casual or put in the work to move up. Handouts are even lamer in video games than IRL
Also someone brought up to you that RBG is essentially free rival gear and you said nah can’t be bothered. So who’s at fault the system or your laziness
It’s more of a protest than laziness.
Weird protest but okay.
I actually like that blizzard decided not to cater to the clicking clueless. They don’t need top end gear to do pet battles and mythic 5s. They can do social casual content fine in the stuff they get.
So absurd to be like hey I have minimal skill at this game but it’s unfair that I don’t have mythic raid = gear because people that are better than me have it.
Man shut up, grow a pair and play the game or don’t. Lots of casual friendly games out there. Like among us or roblox . Heck I’d you’re into trans bdsm furry anime you can play final fantasy too
Sorry for the confusion again lol… I’m not the one who is discouraged. I don’t care about ratings, heck feel free to call me bad, I don’t mind.
What I meant was I start in camo, use binding shot on the two enemy players, launch a freezing trap on one dps. Run to the other side of the pillar. Then while still in camo Tap, Resonating arrow, explosive, rapid fire and bam the other player with 27k hp typically dies.
There is no counter play from the enemy team. With RA he’s getting hit without being able to attack me back because I can shoot through walls.
Well there is counter play the dh could trade Blur
More absurd to think pros should have even more advantages over noobs.
Great job, are you proud of that?
