What's the point of delves?

anyone actually having fun doing them?

they just feel icky like an annoying chore, mechanics even enforce that, like only limited steps before your health drains or whatever else headache mechanic

monsters are sponges, rewards are bleh, just feels pointless? Anyone actually enjoy delves?

it feels like a worse torghast, except the cool atmosphere and powerups in torghast actually made it more fun

Actually yes, I’m finding them quite fun, they’re a nice change of pace from dungeons and sidequests.

season hasn’t started, rewards go up to around heroic raid tier.

I’m not going to l lie here, some of these hate threads toward delves feel like bad faith arguments trying to sabotoge them because they don’t want solo and small groups to have access to high end content.

I wish delves were more like torghast, but we basically got Scenarios more solo-friendly with mandatory side quests. Torghast had issues but I liked any side quests were optional.

Like if you hate delves, you don’t have to do them more than the initial clear (and even then only like… 2 delves are part of MSQ I think?)

not meant for you then, they are suppose to feel like world quests. It’s the end game progression path for world content players.

I think they needed to make the entry levels a tad more difficult.

the limited steps thing is too lenient if you ask me they give you to many spots to recharge it you can basically ignore it same with breathing in the water delve and just about all the delves with mechanics like these

If they are just the same thing but buffed health/DMG (like m+) moving up past level 3, then ya, these have already run their course lol.

None of the rewards are actually even active yet for Delves. The vendors are actually turned off atm for them. Also, tomorrow the harder versions that drop better loot get finally released.

Good news is, if you don’t like them you got your raid content to go back to. These are meant for people that enjoy world content and they are doing just fine in that department.

They’re okay, but I hate how unbelievably tanky the trash is even on 3. They aren’t even dangerous, they’re just a big damage sponge.

I mean even in my 540s I was one pulling rooms to aoe trash down with the elites

I agree with the “rewards are bleh” so far but i havenʻt gone past tier 3 as of yet,
I do enjoy the challenge they present in mechanics; but for the most part, unless the rewards are getting better, im not inclined to run them a second time after trying them out once.
