What's the point of delves?

The more Blizzard puts out videos/TikToks about delves, the more I wonder what their point is. They’re just dungeons/vaults(from forbidden reach). Why are we even making them end-game content? I don’t understand how they differ from what we have now other than them being solo and having some sort of npc with you. is there something I’m missing here or what? i don’t get the excitement over this

i just want to know why people are excited over this other than it being solo qnd casual whats another reason besides these two things

pls stop flagging its not going to go anywhere.

It’s for solo players to try to get heroic raid level gear.

Will be entertaining on the forums for sure.

Okay, but why do they need it? What are they going to even use the heroic gear for? To feel cool as well with everyone else that has heroic gear? Imo delves hurt m+ and raiding, why bother doing those things when you can just do a delve rq and have heroic gear?

you fail to see my point, other than them being solo it doesn’t make them all that different from dungeons. it’s just more clutter we don’t need.

As a solo player im pretty hyped for this new end game pillar for character progression.
If its not your style thats cool, you dont have to participate :slight_smile:

It’s also supposed to be a challenge with some of the endgame ones not rewarding gear but prestige (whatever that means) They are supposed to be like the mage tower level difficulty in later levels as a way to challenge yourself.

Yeah let’s remove the most game played mode to appease the least amount of the playerbase is a smart business decision.

I mean, if we’re removing content just because some people aren’t interested in it let just do it all the way. No more raids, dungeons, delves, questing or PvP.

delves are for ppl like me who hate grouping and want good gear. im a great player so ill be getting those heroic gear

Then you don’t have a game, that’s like saying let’s remove rp. You guys say it’s okay to remove those things but once you throw RP in there suddenly everyone is up in arms about it.

whats the point of that then? you just have heroic gear wasting away without ever getting used except in one place

I’m hoping they’re like solo mythic+ but I don’t get my hopes up before it’s out.
