If it always comes up with “Unable to reconnect”???

It only does it for me if I have been away from the computer for a fair amount of time. If I hit it within a couple of minutes there’s no problem. From what I can figure it goes…AFK in game…warning about logging out due to being AFK, logging out, going to reconnect screen, reconnect no longer working. Its a sort of slow slide backways away from the game.
I was wondering that too. Maybe it is like the push to cross buttons at intersections. Just something to give people the illusion of control.

It doesn’t always. When that happens it is usually because something broke on your end rather than merely getting disconnected from a crash or momentary connectivity issue.
It NEVER reconnects. Ever. So…I Quit the game and relog. No point, just pointless misdirection. But that’s not new.

Wow I thought it was just me. Good to know everyone else has the same issue
It works fine for me, unless my computer has gone into sleep mode over night. Then I need to actually re-log back into the launcher.
Its kinda like the buttons at a crosswalk. It gives you something to do till the light changes. Or in this case until you click cancel and close out and reconnect that way.
It served a function at one point and now it doesn’t.
I generally find it works for me. But also I am typically hitting it very shortly after I am at the screen. There could maybe a time frame that it becomes unreliable.
When this happens to me sometimes it will reconnect and others times it wont, if i try 3 times and no connection I restart the game, it usually works then.
