What's the most useless/unplayable Hero Spec

I vote for Flameshaper

Spellslinger is pretty bad from what I understand rn

Shado-pan monk???

Hmm I’ve seen a lot of arcane mages playing spellslinger

Also, Templar is not completely terrible, but herald is leaps and bounds better so no one plays it.

Probably Flameshaper. There isn’t an instance where you’d use that realistically.

Diablolist is alright for demo but it’s literally a dps loss for Destro.

Colossus kind of eh. :dracthyr_a1: Especially since it’s the PVE option and keeps catching strays.

Isn’t diabolist hard nerfed in pvp ?
I think I heard that watching infernion, I tried it on demo lock free casting and the dmg was totally crap compared to the other hero tree.

Yeah but the short cd big howl is pretty clutch. And I’ll say it has decent burst. Soul harvester is way better though.

Spellslinger Frost specifically is terrible for PvP.

Frostfire Frost gives you a new magic school; haste is and feels noticeably better with Frostfire; Frostfire Bolt can instant cast; Frostfire tree has more inherent burst while Spellslinger’s Frost Splinters can feel like they take longer to “get rolling”; OP Barrier gets the effects of 2 Barriers with Frostfire.

Spellslinger Frost is pretty lackluster in general. They wanted this hero tree to feel like the more “passive” option that didn’t change the base Frost spec too much. But I think with that goal, they left this hero spec feel very boring and unflavorful.

I mean one of the talent choices for Spellslinger Frost is literally [Force of Will]: Gain 2% increased critical strike chance. Gain 5% increased critical strike damage. Talk about boring lol.

If we’re talking about pvp context only, and hero trees that never see play for either spec, then I think the top 3 are

Flameshaper
Shado-Pan
San’Layn

Also what about dh? Idk what spec dh’s even play?

Arcane plays this

Templar sucks but at least there’s a few rets on the ladder still playing it and making it work

I play diabolist destro a lot. It’s good in matchups where you can cast a lot or easily farm precogs. But some matchups you are forced to go hellcaller (anything that can abuse los against you)

Is that the demolish spec? I still see it fairly frequently

Sanlayn DK has being buffed so many times… is it viable yet? Im not sure if i have ever seen one

Flameshaper is straight up flaming garbage for both pres and devo

Idk I’ve seen a lot of demolishes recently

Depends on the season, rn it’s reaver

Druid of the Claw is pretty limp when compared to Wildstalker for feral. The passive rot damage from Wildstalker just allows you to fish for clones/kite while your damage is still rolling hard, and Ravage(if/when it procs) doesn’t hit nearly hard enough to justify switching.

Flameshaper pres is a pretty good option.

I think san’layn DK is up there also.

True I totally forgot ravage even existed. Surely no one actually plays that right?

its completely trash, it does the same dmg as the normal bite, atleast it is aoe, but the aoe dmg is also nerfed in pvp and does almost nothing

Wildststalker is 1000x better compared to this currently

Yes True howl is insane, tbh the only thing that makes me not use diabolist in pvp is the fact that you don’t have the enhanced dark pact.

Flameshaper.

It’s fun as hell in PvE but it’s so giga nerfed in PvP it’s just unfun.

Would you rather have 3 disintegrate beams melting an entire team or… make your fire breath explode and do like 800k damage on a 30s cooldown?

Oh and less over charges.

Ravage got hit with a 40% nerf before the xpac launched, and of course Frenzied Regen is still nerfed in PvP for Feral which are the two things the entire tree is built around.

Yea from both a survivability perspective AND damage perspective, Wildstalker just takes the cake.

Sanlayn is now a viable option vs melee comps and has some representation in the solo shuffle top 50
