Regular Tauren can be paladins & priests but Highmountain Tauren can’t? What’s the reasoning behind this? I know it’s gotta be a lore thing because it always is, so what is the reasoning? I finally got around to unlocking the HmT earlier this week and was very disappointed to see I can’t be a paladin. I’m still liking the hunter, druid & shaman though. The DK I just have a hard time keeping alive due to healing, That’s why I love the paladin, for the fighter w/ healing. The shaman I have just started on and it seems pretty cool too. I tried the warrior and he just seems slow. All of them are low level right now so I am a little limited on skills/spells/abilities so maybe that’s part of it? I’ve tried the warrior a couple times with other races in the past but never could stick with the class. Same with the shaman but I’m liking the enhancement shammy I’m trying now. Elemental didn’t do it for me.
Wow, this got off track. Ok I’m done. For now.
HM Tauren smell like moss and wet grass, so we don’t let them become paladins.
Well, the lore behind tauren paladins is super weak anyway. They are technically “sun druids”, so I really don’t see the point in restricting highmountain tauren.
Kul’tirans are the same.
Also, technically even Tauren aren’t Paladins, but “Sunwalkers”, but, I mean at this point let’s be blunt…
The idea of using races in their canon forms has long been thrown out the window.
