I had about 10 mins of free time before server shutdown today, and wondered if I could crank out my last 2 delves to get 3 vault slots (I had already done 6). I was able to spec my warrior prot and run with DPS brann, mechasaurs, and biofuel rocket gear, and indeed finished 2x T8 Sluices in ~8 mins.
That got me wondering which delve/scenario is the fastest. Certainly Sluice is up there, and certainly it varies by class and spec (Tanks likely being the fastest). But I wonder if there were a better option.
I guess travel time matters here, since if I had to travel to Nightfall Sanctum (from Dornogal), that would have eaten up a couple minutes already (and NS is not likely a very quick delve anyway). Sluice is very close, and so are the 3 in Dorn, and probably Waterworks too.
I suspect 2x T8s in 8 mins is hard to beat, but do y’all have any opinions on what delve/scenario/class/spec/brann might be worth trying for slightly better speed runs?
Expedition 9, Sidestreet or Spiral Weeb depending on which story is active.

I think Sluice, but I’ve been able to do Earthcrawl on the goblin rescue on 8s on my tank basically straight up just walking through. Bomb/goblin save story are pretty good.

I’m disappointed you’re not a hunter.
I can bang out a Sidestreet very quick. Some versions are quicker than others, but they’re all pretty much fast. The one with the gold boss at the end I can sometimes do sub 10 minutes.

Sluice and Fungal Folly have typically been the fastest for me.
Underkeep and Spiral Weave sometimes, but very heavily story dependent.
I did this on an alt, VDH, didn’t bother with changing brann etc., since you can get credit on lvl 1 just as easy as anything else. The story was the one where you just have to use the tool to take the goblins down from the wall and squish bugs. I was able to get 4 of them done in about 15 minutes, but I would not have had the time to do another 4, so I just mailed the stuff to my main and logged.
Depending on the story, that delve is the fastest I think, factoring in distance from Dorn.
Yeah that would have been earthcrawl mines. When it’s the squish big bug one, take it to each bomb and it’s done. I love just how much of the environment does the delve itself on that one.

Myco Cavern with the pink elephant is pretty fast, sidestreet sluice fast.
Tried waterworks today before reset on my demo lock, but got shut out during Waxface. Got a delver’s bounty and an Underpin champ drop (for my clothie, even) out of it anyway.

I’ve done Dread Pit in about 4 minutes several times
Dread pit, Skittering Breach and Underkeep (two of three stories) can all be done in under 8 minutes. SB is more like 6.5-7.
The stories can change the length. It’s how I cap my vault, find the fastest story and run it over and over for the last 5 delves.
Only did 4 total this week though.

I’ve only done that one once or twice, so I’m not too familiar. Will def give that a shot.

Forums won’t let me change chars. I hate this guy. And I made it before the “incident”, I’m pretty sure. I definitely did not make this char because of that tragic incident. Ugh.
Maybe I should delete this char and the forums will force a switch or something.
which scenario is this, or does it matter? and assuming your warrior… what spec and brann setup? Or does that not matter as well
I assume biofuel rocket gear is optimal so you can zoom through, but I admit I stop to fight a fair bit so maybe movement speed isn’t doing that much.
The Gold Elemental in South Street is probs the fastest.
Or the Fungal Folly story where you challenge 5 explorers. That ones real fast, too. Maybe Rampaging Experements in Spiral Weave.
It’s in Ringing Deeps middle right of map. I did it at that speed on a Havoc DH in testing on Beta and on release I think. If you get the one where you can nuke the packs with the debuff you can zoom to each objective in the beginning nuke down a few adds, click the thing, then keep moving.
Forums won’t let me change characters either. What’s up with that?
The delve/story that you do the most is going to be faster than those you don’t know that well. You know what is coming next, where it is coming from, when to save your cool downs, where to stand, were NOT to stand, etc.
