What's the fastest class to run legacy raids on?

Since every class can get every transmog now, if you were to pick one class to basically run all the Legacy raids once a week what would be the most efficient choice in terms of overall movement speed/AoE spam through the raids over a few hours?

Mage.
The time saved thanks to Teleport will trump any time saved by running marginally faster through the raids.

Nah, mage used to be good, but it’s garbo now that they deleted the arcane momentum talent. Now it’s a tie between druid, monk and DH.

Personally I do them on my monk.

Literally spam Whirling Crane Kick the whole way through, while sped-up from Chi Torpedo.

Tiger’s Lust when on cooldown.

I use the pet battle trainer in Dalaran (Dalaran Hearthstone) to get around in the old world (Manapoof), farmed Scholo for Krastinov’s Bag of Horrors recently.

Do you mean the Capital City teleport? Because with 3 difficulties per raid my dalaran/regular hearthstones stayed ahead of the curb on getting back to Stormwind. I didn’t find returning to be that much of an obstacle. I’m currently running on my priest and I feel like a better trash clearer than holy nova and better movement option than angelic feather would overall go farther.

druids or hunters

Pretty much this. Spec BrM and just spam it the entire way.

Teleport gives you all of 2 locations that aren’t a load screen away, so you arrive and move at walking speed basically the whole dungeon because your mobility cooldowns just aren’t that good tbh. Druid meanwhile runs faster than most classes using their mobility without using any and has teleports to actual weird locations thanks to the dreamway.

I like brewmaster with rushing jade wind, move fast, range explosions, things die around you as you walk literally from air spinning, hard to beat.

Veng DH IMO for speed

Monk, Rogue, Druid, and I would probably say Lock too.

DH might be a good pick too but never had one.

Druid for sure.
Passive 30%(?) run speed, plus roar and dash.
you also get access to various portals via the dreamwalk spell.
Several hearthstones, toys and trinkets to get around quicker. Even engineering if you want

us locks are good at soloing stuff because we have good self-healing/defensives and provide our own tank. Sadly, we dont run so good (even with talented burning rush)

Something with tap and go is probably the best case.

Hunter
Warlock
Warrior
Druid

Speed’s nice and all but when Jade Lightning cost energy (Versus being free or a tiny amount of mana), gathering all those groups gets old fast.

Plate is a big help. Or any decent amount of armor and/or out-leveling.

Moonfire and Sunfire doesnt need to face the target, hits multiple targets, and Starfall chain makes trash farming super easy. Then dash around.

Druid. All 4 specs and fast as heck.

Druid is really good, I feel like for farming the old stuff, we’re fast boy!

Warlock, druid, monk, and shaman are all close. Monk has only 19% base speed increase but 3 extremely good added movement abilities all on 20-30s cd so they’re rarely running at that base speed. Hunter is also good depending on instance, if you don’t want to deal with trash aggro spread out across a map preventing you from mounting up, feign and they’re all gone.

I typically use my hunter with speed enchants on all their gear. They have all the speed-boosting talents and carry a cunning pet for even more. I have multi-shot macro’ed to fire without needing a target so I just look in the general direction of a mob pack and they die. You can also get your pet to fetch the loot, which is quite handy. Other classes might run faster, but hunter’s ability to sweep the trash is far better. And like mentioned above, you can feign death if you’re stuck in combat and can’t mount.

The classes with good boost speeds are what will get you through long raids more quickly. But, I’ve had very good times in the past as a Mage with just Arcane Explosion and Blink -with teleport to get you quickly from one expansion to another, and one continent to another in classic.

With that in mind, a Dracthyr Mage might be the best option.
