What's the deal with hunters refusing to lust

Most hunters will run a spirit beast. To get a furosity pet out will take a dismissal cast and a 6 second summon. That’s a fair DPS loss for something that a shaman, mage, or drums can do instantly.

Only BM hunters run a spirit beast and if you are playing BM you are wrong.

Most hunters run petless. Unless they are trying to meme with BM.

If there was a mage or shaman in the group, this wouldn’t be a discussion.

What don’t you understand about soloing and being in a dungeon with others?

I’ll let you touch my horns and call me stag-daddy. Deal?

Why are you trying to argue for the sake of arguing? You’re not making any point against anything I said.

Easily the most elitist and stupid commend I have read today. And I have been on reddit. I find BM more fun so I play it. I like the freedom of movement and it does competitive dps. I don’t enjoy MM. Simple as that.

So you don’t understand the difference between being in a group in a dungeon like the OP is talking about and soloing and why a pet is bad in one and good in another. Got it.

Because my hunter’s shtick is using all “special training” pets (the ones that require a book, like cloud serpents)

And Blizzard, in their infinite wisdom, made Undead Devilsaurs literally the only Ferocity special training pet, which require Beast Mastery to tame, and my hunter is Survival

Are you 13?

What you find fun is up to you. What is the superior spec is not up to you. BM is pretty bad when compared to MM.

Ahh the insults from somebody who can’t follow a conversation. GG.

Depends who is playing it.

No…no it doesn’t. There is no feelings or thinking in this. MM is objectively better than BM in both single target and AoE.

So you are saying the person pressing the buttons is not a variable in the performance of a class? Interesting.

More projecting.

Look, this is a waste of time. So I’ll just restate what I said so you can go back to arguing with hunters who want to play other specs than you:

I, personally, do not expect MM to bring lust. I play survival, I bring it. It is not a concern of mine.

If I played MM, I would bring lust if the group needed it. It is a DPS loss for the player, gain for the group. Worth it. But I don’t expect it when inviting without asking.

Are we clear now?

Survival. That explains it.

What, that I don’t go for fotm? Or are you just trying to insult me for liking something different than you?

just to add, I said I wasn’t MM from the start
