It’s unlikely both because Ion said no already and because they wouldn’t have done void elves if they had planned playable alliance helves.

Ion has said no to A LOT of things that eventually turned around. That shouldn’t be a limiting factor at this point.

Which, imo, is probably what they will end up doing.
Horde has there version (Blood) and Alliance has their’s (Void) .
Both are High Elves . There has been not been time for their to be any genetic differenc. All the Blood and Void Elves were known as High Elves until the either changed their names due to Arthas and the Scourge or embracing th VOid.
Blood Elf Leader was once a high ranking High Elf Ranger.

Sure if they add Ethereals to the Horde and give all Blood Elf characters free race changes.
Would be super easy to toggle the racials to have arcane effects instead of void effects.

Which the closest races we got to alliance are blood elves undead (humans) and nightborne who look alot like night elves. So if that ever happens I would expect some same things for other races to be fair.
Void-embraced elves aren’t the only type of high elves in the Alliance, though!

It would require switching the spell animations (I don’t know how labor intensive that would be) and icons in the spellbook. I think they’d be more inclined to share the racials of the blood elves instead since they fit more thematically. There is also the issue of heritage armor for both void elves and blood elves, though

That came because of a need to protect their Intellectual Property. It was never about what people were asking for. It just worked out and both sides got a win/win

I mean… i don’t see the point of making Blood elves neutral.
It devalues the request to just wanting Horde’s pretty races on Alliance.
And i will always detest that idea.
