What's the deal with High Elves?

They also got Night elves (Nightborn). Thats 3 Alliace races.

To top it off, they want the forsaken to have no bones showing and standing upright (aka, look like humans.)

Which they already have in death knights.

ITs just “Hi I want to be on the ugly monster faction but I want to be PRETTY!”

This is hilarious in a thread asking for the billionth time for high elves.

Since void elves aren’t pretty enough.

If you want to REALLY push it, you could argue that Vulpera are just gnome-worgen too. It’s a bit of a reach but no more of a reach than horde saying High elves don’t exist.

Most agree the void elf skin ones are not pretty.

Tell me which Alliance race is the human standard for pretty like Blood Elves are?

Yes, but also equality, you got blue and fair skinned elves, we just have blue skinned. :man_shrugging:

And the majority of High elfs renamed themselves Blood elfs and joined the Horde.

So let me correct myself. The chances of Blizz taking a playable horde race and making them a neutral one probably wont happen.

They sure did, but that also doesn’t mean they aren’t in the Alliance in bigger numbers than a lot of other Allied Races.

Not at all, cause we’re not asking for Blood Elves, we’re asking for the Alliance High Elves we’ve always interacted with. Kind of like how Zandalari and Kul Tiran are also just human and troll but have very different models.

Same thing works for High Elves and Blood Elves, who also have no reason to look different but can, thanks to storytelling.

If they had just made Void Elves a group of our High Elves instead of a group of Blood Elves then we wouldn’t have this problem, you only have Blizzard to blame :man_shrugging:

You also have purple!

I’d work under the assumption that Beauty is in fact subjective and then use humans as the baseline since they’re basically us.

Personally though, the most attractive of the races in terms of triggering a response in my brain beyond simple recognition would be pandaren women; I see them and every part of me just wants to snuggle. Not screw or makeout or whatever, just snuggle.

But that’s me just me :hugs:

Yep you’re right, Void elfs took that place and do you really think Blizz is going to add ANOTHER elf model with fair skin and blue eyes as another allied race?

I suggest reading the OP’s first part of the thread, here I quoted it for you:

What OP said was basically turning Blood elfs into high elfs and making them a neutral race.

Thus why I said the chances of them making a horde playable race a neutral one not likely.

So you might not be asking for blood elfs but OP is. Which is what I was responding to.

They are, because blood elfs are high elfs who call themselves blood elfs. So void elfs are blood elfs who are high elfs. You just don’t like it which is fine but you keep doing you, keep asking for another blood elf model on alliance. GL to you.

Why not? It’s the most requested and popular AR in the Alliance and they felt the need to add a worst version of the most underplayed race in game with Mechagnomes, I don’t see how they could go down from that.

She’s entitled to her opinion but the grand majority of the pro-high elf crowd would like a rig change for their High Elves for the specific purpose as to not “steal a horde race.”

Yes, twice removed from actual High Elves, who is a recognized, separate entity in the game, that Blizz has actively gone out of its way to make sure people understand.

Sadly, people don’t understand. Case and point.

Only one thing amazes me more than blizzard’s absolute obstinacy in redressing the errors they constantly make in this game; that being the utter hysteria of certain players who are so absolutely convinced that we are asking for them to be deprived of ‘their’ characters.

The OP is NOT canon in his remarks as to HOW to implement PAHEs: he is merely speculating.
Trust me; we DON’T want belfs back in the Alliance.
They have cooties.

This game has much bigger problems that who gets what race and why.
Like the lack of Vikingr gear, for instance: have you seen what Blizzard has labeled as a ‘Viking sword’? Looks like something out of ‘Lawrence of Arabia’.

What’s the deal with Alliance wanting a blue eyed elf race?

I mean really…move on man, Shadowlands was literally a slap in the face to those on Alliance wanting it and it makes me laugh so much and chuckle that some people just don’t get it.

Blood Elf = High Elf

There’s a joke to be made here about Alliance players thinking the non-blue eyed/blonde elves are inferior, but I’d rather not eat a ban.

Can we not talk about those stupid elves anymore…

Because you and anyone else who foams at the mouth wanting High elfs don’t represent everyone who plays Alliance or WoW for that matter. It has been the most asked on the forums but we all know the forums isn’t a big percent of the player base.

Never said she wasn’t. But clearly we’re taking what OP said differently. You believe she is asking for just a high elf neutral race yet she specially said blood elf becoming high elf and making them a neutral race. So while not stealing a horde race but reducing it by one.

And by reducing, just to make it clear is that While the number of races will remain the same for the horde it wouldn’t be an exclusive horde race and reducing that number by one.

Yeeeeep they are, but that is what you got. Sadly people don’t seem to understand. Case and point: we have playable void elfs, we have blood elfs, and there are high elf who are not playable.

Again, you do and keep on asking for them.

No, I don’t feel that it will deprive my characters. I actually really want High elfs in the game for the main, but not only, reason that these constant threads about them stop.

I have no actual problem with playable High elfs. I’m just looking at what has been presented and introduced into the game by blizzard and how blizzard works over the years of playing. From that I just don’t see them adding them in.

I would be glad to be wrong, again mostly so that these threads stop.

Yep it is speculation and on that speculation I disagreed by saying it probably is not likely that Blizzard would make a playable horde race and turn it into a neutral one.

so what’s with the ‘we’?

All belfs or just the ones who are sick of being made fools of by Ka’el the Coo-Coo, Queen Roadkill, and all the other losers the Horde has been saddled with?

Yeah how dare us ask for something, right?
do you throw that garbage at pvpers, RPers, or other groups in the game that feel they need something?
No? didn’t think so.

Fooled me.

you are wrong and, as for these threads, tell us all please…

Who makes you read them?

Multiple capped threads with hundreds of likes each actively points to a majority interest, I can’t believe I have to explain that. People who don’t care otherwise are just that, and if they don’t like the idea they would of made it known on the forums.

It already isn’t, we literally already have Blood Elves in Void Elves, who are honest to god Blood Elves, not even our High Elves :man_shrugging:.

A compromise that in its very nature is not even remotely a compromise, is not a compromise, the compromise would of been High Elves made into Void Elves, instead they actively took Blood elves to do it, obviously Blizz has plans for High Elves in the future.

Besides, since you wanna get technical and they made Blood Elves blue and gave them to the Alliance, then technically we haven’t even remotely gotten our already Alliance High Elves and are entitled to ask for them, since they are not and have not, ever been apart of the horde, if anything it’s a free race that we’re allowed to ask for. :man_shrugging:
