Well?
Herbalism. You mill herbs into pigments and make those into inks.
herbalism.
but also, ew inscription.
Engineering.
j/k
That info requires Trustlvlfive.
Well I already have a:
- miner/blacksmith
- miner/engineer
- miner/jewelcrafter
- enchanter/tailor
- herbalist/alchemist
All that really leaves is inscription and leather-working and no one in their right mind would ever go skinning/leather-working.
No one in their right mind would have 3 miners either, yet here we are
I only made them mining because its what compliments their crafting profession. So I thought I may as well.
The low IQ answer is herbalism.
The high IQ answer is that having a gathering profession to support a crafting profession is impractical since you typically need more herbs than is practical to gather yourself to make a decent profit and that if you were to make money off gathering, it’s better to do it was something like Herbalism/Mining to minimize redundancy.
So, take Enchanting since you’ll either be buying herbs or having a dedicated gatherer to feed your scribe so you may as well generate a passive income by disenchanting excess gear and selling those mats.
I made an obscene amount of gold skinning and leathercrafting in Shadowlands. I wouldn’t bother near the end of an expansion though.
I’m sure you did. But my refusal to skinning/lw is based on principle since I don’t like any of the mail wearing classes in the game and there don’t seem to be any actual leather mogs worth getting from the profession either, as ironic as that is. I can make plenty of gold with the other professions anyway if I could be bothered to do so. I tend to only do stuff for myself when it comes to professions. Too many price gougers on the AH.
what I realized by the end of the expansion , you earn more by just selling the items
